To help for those having trouble opening, I got this case today, removed my worn out Otterbox and put this on my 8. On this new one, you have to pry/stretch out the exterior flexible outer casing at one of the ends and work it off around the black case. It seems solid but it will pry loose. I used a small flathead watch screwdriver to begin and then got my fingernails to work the rest off. The interior case has marked tabs on the back to open to get your iPhone in. The included instructions are not clear about removing the outer layer. So far, I am very satisfied with it. It comes with a protective touch screen so you may have to push harder or remove it if you have an existing protective screen and find it annoying. No big deal. I sent a few texts today and it was fine for me. It is a good buy. I recommend.

The case work out good for me.

This case is designed exactly after my Otterbox Defender case. The outer cover is more PVC plastic vs. rubber so I reused my Otterbox cover for better feel and grip. I was looking for an orange inner cover to replace my black one so I can find my phone easier. Mission accomplished. NOTE: The screen cover is not a tight fit (clear film is slightly bowed out) but the case itself is tight. The thumb print hole is a hole unlike my Otterbox that has a thumb film. That means more dust will find its way between the screen cover and phone screen. The case fits in my Otterbox belt holder perfectly so another plus. Their case belt holder seems to be designed after my Otterbox and has a slightly lower quality feel but I can't discount its quality as I will be using my old holder.

Great phone case, fits iPhone 7 perfectly. Comes in cute colors, has a double protective layer, a clip for portability, and adds a good grip to the phone. For the people saying the case is glued together or broke upon trying to open it; you have to gently lift the edge of the silicone outer case from the plastic inner part to pull it apart and it opens easily. It took a second to figure out.

Gave 3 instead of 4 or 5 stars because the product arrived slightly defective—the plastic case should snap in at all points but one of the tabs is misaligned and does not snap shut. However, the outer rubber covering holds the defective tab shut well enough for daily use, so it was designed well. Overall, the case functions the way it should and has coverings for charging port and other buttons, which is something I wanted. The clip was a bonus—it’s pretty neat to have the ability to clip or prop up my phone when I want to. (Beware: it snaps shut quickly. Watch your fingers when you release the kickstand.) While the rubber case is perhaps firmer than some name brand cases, I like the feel of this case and don’t find the buttons too difficult to press. I don’t use the fingerprint reader technology, so wish it had a rubber piece over the button, especially since it seems the plastic over the button is getting ready to rip already. In general, a good purchase. Obviously can’t speak for durability yet, as I’ve just started using this after the holidays. A bonus for me: the “mint” color for purple/mint turned out almost exactly how it looks in the picture—kind of an aqua color to my mind, which is exactly what I wanted to go with the purple. Love the color scheme, that’s the main reason I chose this product.

I’ve followed instructions to open the phone case to put the phone in, but the case is far too stiff it won’t open

Fast shipping. Like the rubber putter shell. Not a fan of the plastic over the home button. Ripped after a month of having it.

Screen cover makes rainbow patterns so screen diffucult to view under certain light/angle. iPhone buttons are hard to push. This ”new” case arrived without original packaging so it’s an open box! Will return the probably already returned product...

plastic screen cover is sticky and can't work phone through it so had to rip it off, and after a few times of charging the silicone is now out of shape.
