Most people say “cute”, “fit well for my trip”, blah, blah, blah! Well here I hope is some Useful info to go by. I’m 5’1”, 117lbs, 36C, 29W, 37H. I wear a size 4 or 6 in Women’s or a 5 or 7 in Jr. Size. The Medium fit perfectly and they seem to be well made. They are made of swim suit material so dry quickly. Small was too tight in waist, thighs, hips & crotch. I hope this helps you determine your size. So many people leave bragging frivolous information. Generally I wear a small. I ordered a medium. Medium fit perfect so I say they run a little small or maybe it is the junk in my trunk! They are definitely a bathing suit bottom,not a pair of shorts. They do have a panty liner which is nice for swimming. I liked these so much I ordered 3 more pair while they were in stock.I did Not get a discount for my review, just trying to help other online buyers like me. I hope I helped!

Not what I was expecting so i returned it. I was hoping for a basic board short, something to wear over my bathing suit, this wasn't it. The reviews I read prior to purchase were a bit confusing, some said these were shorts, others said they were bathing suit bottoms. What I got was a short with a sewn in bikini bottom, I don't think it'd be comfy but that's me. May not have been terrible if that's what I had been looking for, although I would say they run small for that case. If you're looking for a short/bathing suit bottom type of thing, these wouldn't be bad, but order a size up maybe. If you're looking for short, you may want to look elsewhere.

I bought these because I always end up walking around in my shorts at the beach/pool/etc - so why not wear shorts that are meant to go in the water. They would have been better if they were made from a quick dry fabric, but i know that isn't how women's fashion works. We don't get practical fabrics. Anywho - this has also resolved the "i haven't shaved and i need to get in a pool" situation quite nicely without me looking like a dork in my shorts.

I gave these 4 stars even though I did return them. They fit pretty true to size and looked nice. I bought the hot pink and tried them on with my black one piece and the combo looked good but my black swimsuit was more noticeable in the butt through the pink then I wanted. They are by no means see through or even close, so if you have a lighter swimsuit or are using them as bottoms they should be perfect (or if you don’t care about the color showing through!)

I am 5’7 - 130lbs - 34B - 26 WAIST - 37 HIPI wore these to the beach.These shorts are comfortable and lightweight. When I went into the water, it didn’t feel like they were going to come off. And they didn’t get heavier in the water like some shorts I’ve worn.I recommend these to anyone who is looking to cover up their tooshie for a family beach trip.These shorts are also cute which is a plus.

I wear a size 2 in pants, so I ordered the Papaya Boardshorts in small. The inner lining was very tight, so I just cut it out; without it, they fit great. Very cute and don't restrict movement in the water.

Have bought 2 pair of these, first one in hot pink, second one black. Great for watersports, they will not fall off. You can wear in place of bikini bottom, which is nice because I hate having so many wet layers on. Dry quickly. Drawstring tends to always end up in the hole somewhere after a wash so tie a large knot at the end. Otherwise have worn well and fit as expected. I wear a medium (5'4" 135lb).

These are great! They fit loosely instead of being skin tight but have a bikini liner so everything stays covered. I wear them on the jet ski and around the lake and love them. I will be getting another pair.

The swim shorts seem to be decent quality, overall, though some of the elastic is showing through in the seam of the gusset. I have 39-in hips, and ordered a medium, and I believe they fit as they are supposed to fit. The question is whether that is a good thing! See attached for some real-human photos. I'm short (5'1"), 120-125 pounds, and most of that weight lives between my navel and my knees. :-) I decided to keep the shorts because my previous, tight shorts simply don't fit anymore, but I am undecided as to whether these are actually "flattering" on my increasingly pear-shaped body. You be the judge. ;-)

I’m a size 5-7 or small in bottoms and after reading reviews I ordered a size larger than I normally wear. I found the mediums too large for me. They looks more like shorts and I wanted a more snug fit. I ordered a small and those fit great.See difference in how the two sizes fit in the photo.If you want the fit to look more like shorts, a little looser in the belly and around the leg... buy a size larger than you normally wear.If you prefer a more snug, board-short, swimsuit fit, buy your regular size.

I love these! After reading reviews everyone suggested on ordering a size up from your regular size. I'm a medium so i ordered a Large. They fit really great with a bit of room which confirmed if i had ordered my regular medium size they would have been a bit tight. These come with built in underwear so you can wear them as shorts, too and then just jump into the water when you see fit! I love that you can sinch up the string if need be or loosen it up. These are my second pair and will order one more so as to have 3 on our vacation. Would definitely recommend!

Very pleased with these shorts. I was looking for a modest swimsuit (not much of a difference between a swimsuit and underwear in my opinion) I will say though, even though the other reviews say to up-size, it was not necessary for me. I wear 2X in Canada (18-20) so I went for the 3X and it's a bit too big, but not enough to return it. Overall very happy though! The fabric is thick and nice and the inside pantie is comfortable. It sits right at the belly button.Pros: nice quality, nice coverage, confortableCons: not sure you need to up-size

I found these to be a lot larger than I expected.I had read somewhere that someone recommended going up a size so given I wear L/XL, I ordered XXL.I wouldn’t if I were you.I’m 5’7ft and size 10/12 or M-XL pending on style of clothing and fabric if this gives you an idea of how this would fit on you. If you’re floating around the same shape/size as me, I’d settle with XL unless you’re bottom half is actually heavier set (more butt lol)—because you’d have to be comfortable in the attached swim bikini bottom within the actual short. The shorts itself have stretch, so you don’t have to worry about that part.Overall, they seem decent enough.
