Field review
Having tested this in both fab shop and in the field in akward and tight welding positions. This filter is by far one of the best autos ive used so far. Hasnt flicked on me yet with consistent TIG welding down to 30 amps, even with partial sensor blocking. Ive yet to test this filter with Mig and stick but im confident there wont be an issue with it using it for either processes. I know how difficult it can be finding a filter to use with Tig regardless of amperage because of build quality. Gold coating and stainless casing defenitly help keep your eyes cool during hours of welding, battery life seems to be no issue making it all week long on a single charge. Clarity of the puddle, arc, and associated weld characteristics is one of the clearest on the market for the value. Will update this review in months to come after heavier usage **Update 4/5/24*** This lens is great, great clairty, battery life is great. Lasted me about 3-4 months since receiving a full charge. Some lighting does make it flicker but wont flash you when you strike up to weld. The hand feature for switching to grinding is extremely handy, ive tried it outside and it seems to switch just fine but would recommend tefauwes instructions and turn it off for outside use. Its also been durable having dropped 10'. Ive reccomended this filter to about 5 other welders all with positive feedback on their purchase. Highly recommend this filter, its far surpassed higher end filters ive used. Especially with sensitivity to low amperage tig welding. Bigger brands have a lot of catching up to do

Automatic weld lens
Works great. True color is very good, also clarity is great. Only down side is that it you have to charge it. Welding or light won't help charge it. Great value, compared to others. Definitely recommended.

Provides a clear view of the puddle and its surround areas with no haze what so ever
• The Frame is very slim and light weight • Turns light blue when welding with MiG • Turns little bit whiter when welding with Flux core, clarity remains the same • Lens provides a very clear view of the puddle and its surrounding areas(helps seeing the puddle punch the backing plate/ see the penetration in action) • No haze • Lens comes with various shades and delays to accommodate any welders preference and also has a grind mode as well • Would highly recommend buying this lens for the clear view of the puddle and its surroundings alone. This lens was a real game changer for me and helped me get cert in flux. 10/10 highly reccomend

Excellent for TIG
Very clear, great colors and clarity when not active, and still great when active. My previous helmet, while only a few years old at this point, at the time was highly rated and at the time was on the high end of what you would place in the budget category (Antra AH6-260-0000 Solar Power Auto Darkening Welding Helmet with AntFi X60-2 Wide Shade Range 4/5-9/9-13). Its crazy how much "real color" lens technology has improved since then. That helmet is soooo much harder to see what's going on through. Everywhere around the arc is just washed out and its got that greenish tint thing going on. Despite it having a larger field of view, I immediately find myself only wanting to use the Tefuawe lens. It is obvious, but worth repeating: Its easier to weld if you can actually see what you are doing with clarity. With this lens, doing TIG aluminum, I can pick out so many more little details to the behavior of the arc than I could with my old helmet. I think I'm going to have to just give that thing away at this point. I feel bad though. I wanted to give my old helmet to my friend so he could use it to learn to weld, but with the knowledge of what "real color" tech has gotten to, I wouldn't want to burden him with that. I got the cheapest plastic hobart fixed lens helmet I could find to put this lens in. Its no where near as comfortable or stable on the head as my old helmet, so my one piece of advise would be to not skimp too much on the helmet you intend to put this lens in. Make sure its comfortable and has the flip up and stay up without drooping action that you want, or go pancake or something. I love the USB-C recharge. No need to fiddle with finding coin cell batts. Love the metal case, makes me worry less about breaking it. Came with a nice little padded zip case and front and back cover plates. I personally just disabled the hand sensor mode. Granted I have no experience with other "real color" lenses. I'm sure the high end brands have some great ones, and have heard that there are some other budget ones that are pretty good... For what I'm doing in my garage I can't see the clarity of this lens holding me back at all. I'm very likely to get a more comfortable helmet to put it in though. I tried to take some vids through it, and while the off-state color and clarity is readily apparent, the on-state doesn't show up the same. On camera it looks washed out, but it isn't at all to human eyes. I have only used it with TIG welding aluminum and mild steel and amps less than 125 A so far. I can't speak to its performance for stick, fluxcore, or MIG. I have not adjusted the shade, just left it at 10 so far. Tefuawe has my respect. I'll be sure to watch them going forward.

Very clear!
I weld for a living, this lens is very clear even compared to name brand lenses like Lincoln viking. Rechargeable so don't have to buy batteries c port charger battery lasts over a month so far without charging.

Not as good as some passive lenses, but still pretty good.
I like the adjustability and hand activated grind mode. It's not going to be my main workhorse since I'm really liking some of the higher end passive lenses in a flip front hood, but it's a nice option to have available, and being able to charge it with a phone charger if the battery dies sure beats having to get new ones or a whole replacement lens. It shows a lot of color, but it doesn't filter out the arc and plasma flare as well as some nice fixed lenses, but it's definitely workable for an automatic.

Worth the money
I’ve bought 2 of these and one broke , I contacted tefauawe and they send me a new one with out an extra charge have to say their customer service is great. The first one that I bought from them is still going strong had it for two years no issues with it so far would recommend as it saves money on battery’s , and has a clear view.

I purchased this speed lens to fit inside a concealed old filter lens for the tigerhood that you cannot buy anymore. I had to dremel out a few things to make it work. This lens is rechargeable and incredible.
