Very good laser bright and clear up to at least 40m.A problem with theses lasers are that they can be turned on very easliy by knocking the on/off button on top whilst in the poch or in a bag. Which runs the battery flat. This can be fixed by glueing or using PVC tape to fix a washer over the button.

Great Dot Laser
Great, tough tool, does exactly what it says on the box and more. Used daily with no issues. This PLS Laser PLS-60523 Laser Level Tool was a good investment. It beats a plumb bob for lining up plumb between points. It's very handy for leveling jobs too. For example, installing shelves in a closet - I can mount one shelf brace and level all the others for the same shelf by resting the level on the brace and marking points where I need to install other braces. The beam is 1 inch above the base, so I measure down from the first mark and that's where the top of the brace will need to be installed. This is also now available in a green beam!
