Well made. I have bought several “grabbers”. They were folding models. They never lasted as plastic joints would always break. This one is made to last A little heavy but it will pick up a tiny pill. The jaws are wider than most so bigger things can be grabbed. long enuf to give you a good reach

It’s a good companion, however I find my basic model is lighter and straighter. I use this one, but being older I mostly prefer the old one I wanted to upgrade.

I am in a wheelchair and this reacher/grabber so far has out performed all reachers I have bought. I try to keep one in each room because I know that I will need one at some point and time. I just have been using it for a week but if it keeps up with my abuse then I will replace some with this type of instrument.

I have tried just about every grabber size and style. My mom used them , now I'm using them. The older ones were much better but not so anymore. I had about given up on them. Desperate, I tried one last time. This one works really well, it really picks up little and big things. As an experienced grabber user I've learned some important things. Main thing is you have to handle them all with some care. They have remodeled all these grabbers with more plastic parts, inside and out. And that's were they break. Second thing is you can't use these for heavy items. They will break or you will get hurt when it drops it. If you use them right and use a little care they are so good to have, especially this one. I definitely recommend it.
