A little too soft and thin to hold a large bar of soap out of the water.Would prefer them to be made of a harder, more stiff material. Our soaps are super messy and goopy thick with the exception of the Dr. Bronners bars. The Dr. Bronners bars work just fine with these. If you use a harder soap like Bronners, you'll probably like these, it's just the other soaps are too goopy and require something larger and firmer.I will say they are great if they're for outside of the shower, where the water isn't splashing on the soap and softening it.Recap: great for harder soaps and for soaps used outside of the shower. Too thin and soft for large goopy soaps.They are a good price.

My soaps were usually sliding off the ledge in showers, but this was a great buy. Keeps the soap in place and allows it to dry without the soggy bottom.
