This bulb is AWESOME!
First, my biases:I LIKE:bright lightday light NOT warm whitelongevity in bulbs (hate climbing ladders)I DISLIKE:warm white lightnoisy bulbsflickering and/or dead LEDsIf you have a bare receptical application (garage, workshop) or even a lamp with a shade that can accommodate a larger (longer) screw in type bulb, PLUS you love daylight color instead of warm white. This bulb is perfect for you!It is bright. Let me repeat that, IT IS BRIGHT! I do not have a lumen meter, but when i screwed it in and turned it on everyone in the room (4 people) let out a gasp and exclamations because we were all so surprised. No one expected the intensity of light that we got from this bulb. After muting the light a bit with a shade, I sat and worked in the room for several hours, and it is also completely SILENT. If you are a veteran of large LED light bulbs, you know a lot of them have tiny annoying fans for cooling. These little fans make a lot of noise. I do not think these bulbs. have an active fan It looks like they are relying only on radiant cooling from metal plates in between the light "bars". No moving parts to break and silent. It remains to be seen how well this works, and if it hurts the lifespan of the bulb. But so far I really enjoy quiet. If the cost of electricity in your area is high, you will appreciate the amount of light for the wattage. These two 80W lights, lights my workshop MUCH better than much larger wattage bulbs they replaced. Saving electricity is always a good thing, and I didn't need to go blind to do it!All electrified parts of this bulb are sealed. Some LED bulbs have exposed LED strips or holes for cooling fans, that allows critters, dust, etc to get in and I assume reducing the life of the bulb. This bulb(s) have plastic cases covering everything electrified. Therefore little Mr Spider cannot crawl in and give his life to destroy your beautiful new LED bulb (as well as allowing for humans to handle the bulbs safer as well). No dust or bugs inside.Obviously I cannot speak to the longevity claims, but I will update this review when either a LED or a row or a complete light dies, they CLAIM 50,000 hours, but I haven't owned them anywhere close to that. Will update this review on how it goes.PROS:Great price (as of this writing $17 per bulb)AMAZING amount of light (its possible that in some applications TOO bright)Daylight color (yay!) not warm white (boo!)Completely silent operation (no fan)All electrical parts covered in plastic (including LED strips) no dust or bugs can enterCONS:very brief delay when turning on (less than one second)possibly too large to fit into some existing fixturesBottom line: if you like bright daylight bulbs, and have a receptical that can accommodate them, you have found the bulb you are looking for!

Extremely bright/true daylight
My first bulb set needed replacing because the base broke upon screwing it--they were swiftly replaced. The base and body are plastic with a metal base and include adapter rings for larger base sockets.I installed the bulbs in my garage, replacing some 75w LED Warm White. These are BRIGHT, and with all three on, they produced more light than the open garage door.I used my phone's LUX meter and saw readings 13k up to over 30k, for whatever that's worth. These make excellent socket-only fixture bulbs since they project in all directions.09/15/2023 installation date--I will report back for longevity.

My Favorite Bright Bulb Now. A Good Value Too.
I have recently reviewed a lot of lighting products, so I'm coming into this review with more experience, plus a lot of lighting products to compare this bulb against. My conclusion: this bulb deserves 5 stars, for its exceptional brightness, its good quality construction, and its value.Pros:1. Exceptional Brightness: This bulb is incredibly bright, noticeably outshining every other similar bulb I have tested.2. Silent Operation: Unlike some high-lumen bulbs that come with a fan for cooling, this one operates silently.3. Good value in terms of lumens per dollar.Cons:1. It takes about half a second for the bulb to emit light after you turn the switch on.Detailed Review:Brightness:The first thing you'll notice about this bulb is its exceptional brightness. Yes, many other bulbs claim to be bright, but this one tops all the other similar bulbs I've tested. It is rated at 10400 Lumens, which is significantly higher than most similar bulbs on the market. It was far, far brighter than a 250W-300W Equivalent LED Bulb Soft White 3000K High Intensity Shop Light with 3400 Lumens. They are not even in the same ballpark. It was also brighter than a 55 Watt (250 Watt equivalent) 3700 Lumens Spiral CFL Light Bulb, which itself was much brigher than the 3400 Lumen bulb mentioned above. It was even brighter than an outstanding 50W 6200 Lumen Corn Light Bulb, which (until now) had been my favorite of all the bright bulbs that I've tested.Noise Level:One of the features I appreciate of this bulb is its silent operation. Many high-lumen bulbs come with a built-in fan to dissipate heat, which can sometimes be heard running. This bulb, however, operates without a fan, making it a good choice for those who prefer a quieter environment.Price:While the bulb offers excellent brightness and silent operation, it is not cheap. But I think it is a very good value.Value for Money:I compared lumens per dollar to my prior favorite LED corn light, which had been the brightest and the best value of those I tested. The math suggests that this bulb is an even better value, bettering my prior top choice by 15% (lumens per dollar).Delay When Turning Light On:This one is very minor for me, but it takes about half a second for the bulb to emit light after you turn the switch on. I got used to this after a couple days and it doesn't bother me now. But I can see how this short delay could be disconcerting for some people and they might dock a star because of it. In my view, the light is either off or on most of the time. The momentary delay seems inconsequential. But you may disagree.Longevity:Longevity is another crucial factor for me. I have a 20W LED Corn Light rated at 2000lm that I purchased in January 2020, and it's still performing admirably nearly four years later. I expect this bulb to have a similar or better lifespan. The seller claims this light bulb can last for over 50,000 hours, which would be a lifespan of 25 years with five hours use per day. If it fails to last at least five years, I intend to update this review accordingly. My bottom line:Overall, this seems to be a high-quality bulb that offers exceptional brightness, silent operation, and hopefully, long-lasting performance. Importantly, it also represents the best value I have found in LED corn lights, in terms of lumens per dollar. I give it 5 stars.
