If you plan on ordering this set, and you probably should, there's one more thing you should buy along with it. More about that in just a minute. But for now, I'll say that this is a really fun track. We made sure to set it up before we got our Little Girl to play with it. That way we could have everything looking the way it was supposed to, and working how it should before she even saw it. Because you don't want your kids being impatient while you set it up. But getting it put together was easy, and everything worked fine. Our Daughter loves it, and she loves showing it off to her little cousins when they come over to play.As far as the other thing you need when ordering this - get extra batteries. This works with two AA batteries. But there's a catch. The batteries that it comes with have JUST ENOUGH juice so that it can work for demo purposes. They won't last long when you actually start playing with the set. And you don't want to have to steal batteries from a remote or other gadget in your home, or need to make a run to the nearest store to buy more. So do yourself a favor, and also order a pack of AA batteries when you buy this. If you're getting it as a gift, it's a nice thought for whomever you're gifting it to that you have the extra batteries ready and waiting for when they need them.Good quality, made well, looks awesome, and fun to play with. Plus this is from Vtech. That's a name that all parents like us know, and one that we obviously trust. So we have peace of mind in knowing that it's safe, it's quality, and not made with any harmful plastics or anything like some cheaper non-name-brand toys can be.

Okay, let's get real for a moment. With our sprawling household, from the chaos of toddlers to the wisdom of grandma, and the influx of mail we get (including the countless boxes of baby girl onesies for my soon-to-be granddaughter!), our recycling bin is always on the verge of exploding. Enter the VTech Raptor Racers Track Set.Firstly, this thing can transform any regular old cardboard into an extension of its already impressive 18-foot track. Now that's what I call innovative! I mean, who knew cardboard boxes could be so cool?Let's just say, this track's got the hustle, and while it’s great to have handy builders in the family, even my hubby and son-in-law took a break from their usual fixer-upper tasks to witness the creativity unfolding in the living room. The SUVs zooming around, escaping raptor jaws, and doing wild stunts had all four generations captivated.Now, I'm no middle school teacher anymore (those days are behind me, folks!), but I can spot an educational gem when I see one. This track not only offers some adrenaline-pumping fun but encourages the kiddos to get hands-on and imaginative. So, if you’re after a cool activity that goes beyond just being a toy, and might just distract the young'uns from their screens, this one’s a keeper!

Hate this thing. Took forever to put together. No chance my 6 year old would have ever figured it out. He also got bored coloring it while we tried to occupy him during set up. Once we finally figured it out, the cars wouldn't stay on the track due to the bends in the cardboard. Then you can't put it back in the box properly. One and done. Will probably throw it away.

My son who is turning four pretty soon is pretty advanced for his age. He loves playing with dinosaurs and cars which is always his go to toys around the house, so when I saw this pop up in my feed, I knew this was going to make the perfect combination for him.The track itself is pretty large and can be customized to however large or small you want to make it. He is pretty intuitive for his age, so he made a track out of all of the cardboard pieces and it looks pretty cool I have to say. What we love with this set is that it comes with two jeeps for the track and the customizable options are pretty endless. This is an amazing race track for kids that want to increase their education at the same time.

Hats off to the guys and gals who designed this track set—it is extremely cool! I was able to assemble it easily, even with two eager little girls flitting about and trying to “help.” I want to be sure to mention something I only figured out halfway through: The rubber labels rip apart, you do not have to cut them. I also needed 4 AA batteries (2 for each car).After about 15 minutes of joyous racing, I did ultimately have to resort to taping some sections of cardboard to their metal clips, but I really love the idea of using shipping boxes and the like to add more to the track or to replace pieces that will inevitably become too frayed to stay in the clip. This is so clever and fun for everyone in our house!

Our grandsons are into both cars and dinosaurs, so this was a great game to give them. It was pretty easy to set up, and I'm glad it comes with 2 jeeps. You will need batteries for them. The best part is..... you can cut up your Amazon delivery boxes to make more or new track! That was a very clever idea. The boys have a lot of fun with that. I've been getting V Tech toys for about 10 years now and they are fun for kids , very cleverly designed and last for several years. Try this one out for something different!

I was not sure what to expect out of this, but it is awesome for the little ones to imagine something and then make it come to life. It comes with a cardboard track right out of the box but you can cut up other cardboard boxes and customize it to your hearts content. Note that you will need batteries for the supplied cars. Basically, the cardboard sits on plastic brackets and the cars race along the top edge of it. The beauty of this is that even if/when the supplied cardboard wears out, you can just use what you have around the house to keep it going. The only potential downside is if you are tight on space this is a fairly large set up and takes up a decent amount of space. However, if you have the space then it is awesome and the kids love it. Highly recommend!
