Light, cheap and strong (don't tell KB)
Really please with the design and quality of this rack, even the fasteners supplied with it have a good surface finish and use nylock nuts. The rack itself has a cool shape to it (not a critical consideration but we want our bikes to look good if we can don't we). The fitting kit includes 2 lengths of tie bar and spacers to push the lower mounts out around the brake caliper which gives plenty of clearance. The whole thing was easy to fit and even has a removable bracket to take a rear light or reflector. Time will tell on the matt black surface finish but so far so good. I added a strip of grip tape down the centre of the top plate to help keep my bag in place and I added some frame protector tape to the underside to help protect from stones pinging off. A quality product at a bargain price. The only small negative I can think of is that the rack load bed is pretty thin (but light) so if you push hard on it in the right place you could warp it if you were clumsy (so maybe KB was right all along).

Excellent & fitted in under 10 minutes.
I fitted this to an Avenir road bike without disc brakes and by carefully pulling the legs in and using the plastic spacer OUTSIDE the leg rather than between the leg and the frame drop-out, it fits perfectly. (YOU COULD just buy shorter screws but the standard bottle cage ones are too short by about 4 mm and not strong enough). Unusually it came 90% assembled. It has an unusual design - only two struts. My other RSP (Raleigh Special Products, which is the Aevenir / Raleigh accessories brand), carrier has three, but these are solid aluminium so heavier - the AMD 224 has hollow tubing. I hope the rear, curved strut is enough to keep panniers out of the rear wheel on a bike with 70C wheels, I think it will but time will tell. Rated 25KG, that's enough, maybe would apply especially to bikes WITH disc brakes where effectively you are using longer bolts - but NOTE it is NO GOOD for fitting a child seat and the blurb says this, don't try. When riding, you don't notice it is there. Splash-guard means no need for an extra mudguard which on some frames there would not be rom for. The carrier doesn't come with the 2 bolts needed for the top end, but most bikes with brazed-on threaded lugs come with these. If not, they are easy enough to buy. If your bike doesn't have the lugs, you need a couple of alloy plastic-coated strips with screw holes in the ends which wrap around the top of the rear stays. These are known as CUPS in bike shops. ONE complaint - the packaging was AWFUL, basically it was in 2 plastic bags ! The screws etc. were firmly attached OK but the seller was lucky that the actual frame wasn't damaged in transit, no protection !!

Good rack, fits fairly easily
Nice solid rack that was easy enough to fit on my daughter's bike, which has disc brakes and 650b wheels. The legs are telescopic so you just slide them out to fit the size of wheel and replace the screw. Only trouble I had was that the screw was fiddly to get back in place. Could have done with a slightly bigger hole on the outer leg so it is easier to find the screw thread on tje inner leg. Comes with two pairs of attachments which fit to the seat stay. The pair that came attached to the rack were far too short. The longer pair provided the correct fit - not sure why they don't just supply one long pair as they are very adjustable. Like the fact that the rack also acts as a kind of mudguard. Overall a decent, well made rack.

Not for bikes with disc brakes
Nice bike carrier, I bought this as my bike has disc brakes. Well this carrier jammed the brake caliper pushing in into the disc. Something I didn't notice until to late, so now having to spend £££ on replacing the disc and pads. Was able to slightly bend the carrier to allow clearance for brake caliper So check it doesn't foul your brakes

Good product. Doesn’t come with enough bolts
Really pleased with the product, it fits my cannondale hybrid bike, feels sturdy and is really light. Only gave three stars as it only comes with two of the four bolts needed which is just shoddy, lazy, infuriatingly rubbish customer service.

Sturdy Pannier rack with built-in mudguard
Sturdy Pannier rack with built-in mudguard. Fitted onto my hybrid bicycle no problem after tweaking it a little (and I'm a girl!), it doesn't come with much in the way of instruction but it's pre-assembled so all you've got to do is fit it to the pre-drilled holes on your bike. All the attaching nuts & bolts were included and wherever it's meant to attach to your bike you can be sure it adjusts, so I think it would suit most styles of bike (I'm no expert). Value for money when compared to others available online (can carry up to 25kgs when others are only capable of carrying 10), and the mudguard design is a bonus as it saves my pannier bag/stuff getting all mucky (it will still get a little dirty if you're riding through puddles).

Good quality. Sturdy and strong. Overkill on clearance of disc calliper.
This rack feels strong and sturdy and was very easy to fit. Feels like a quality product. In terms of fitting, it's billed as a model designed for bikes with disk brakes. The way it allows for disc brakes is by being much wider than the rear-axle and providing two, approximately 1.5cm spacers; one for each leg/strut, This and a long bolt on each side to attach the legs to the anchor points on the bike frame. Firstly 1.5cm is totally overkill, the clearance needed for disc brake callipers is often just a few millimetres. Secondly, there is no need at all for a spacer on the drive-side. Why is it there? I do have concerns about the added leverage that the 1.5cm spacers introduce in relation to downward pressure (weight combined with bumps in the road), and the affect this might have on the bolts and the anchor points in the frame. Time (and bumps in the road) will tell on this.

Doesn't fit
This product doesn't fit my bike and so is useless to me. Nothing in the information suggests that it would only fit certain bikes. Not impressed
