All the products by Zem are wonderful, I have orderd three sets of paint brushes from them.I love the short brushes for doing watercolors. They are great brushes for the price.Not only are they good brushes, they are pretty too.I will be ordering more art products from Zem in the future.They also come packaged good too.

These brushes did a great job working with oil based paints to refurbish a trunk. There were many places where the brown canvas butted up to the black metal or the wood varnished straps Held a reasonable amount of paint. Cleaned up easily.

I love Zem brushes! I have found no shedding, clumping, or mis-shaping with them. I am a fairly new painter, acrylics on canvas, and get frustrated with product I can afford that always seems to be poor quality. Then I tried Zem. Much better! I was in an art class, recently, and the instructor came by to explain something. He took my brush, showed the technique and then said, "This is a nice brush!" This from an artist with his own line of brushes. I am pleased.

These brushes work great for my flat washes. The bristles aren't too stiff at all and I love the variation of line I can get as well. I recommend this set, especially if you like to paint big.
