Nice
Repurposed for cannabis drying. Similar product intended for drying around $60. Much cheaper and works just as well.

It works and it holds heavy disco balls!
It works! We put a 30” disco ball on it and it held up great.

Noisy motor that ran at 2 revolutions per minute
The media could not be loaded. The motor is objectionably loud even with music on in the room. It also ran a little faster than advertised at 2 rpm. For a 12" ball, I would prefer a slower speed. Other than that, it's very easy to mount but not with the screws provided. There's no on/off switch but a power strip solves that easily enough.

Great little disco ball motor
I like the slower rotating speed of this motor, it is great for adding a disco vibe without being too disorienting. The motor was quick to install and turns on when plugged in. It can be used with or without the included chain and supports up to a 12" disco ball. Once the product was installed and we added a few pin lights it really amped up our event space!

Buyer Beware. Not as advertised.
Got this because i wanted something slower than my 2 RPM disco ball motor I had. This is advertised as 1.5. Buyer beware. This is 2 RPM not 1.5.

Spin me right round baby right round...
We have a 16" disco ball hanging from this motor in the center of the dome on top of our yurt. The motor works well, spins at a good speed, and feels secure. The motor has a standard 115v-120v cord and plug. There is no switch on it. Plug it in, it spins, unplug it and it stops spinning. I set it up with the plug going into a wireless switch at the end of an extension cord. I can turn it on and off with the remote. If you have a switchable outlet in your ceiling you can use that as well. The one thing that (I hate to say because everything comes with one it seems) it could use is a remote. Just a simple one, on/off, that's it. I know that it would just get lost in the house with the (what seems like millions of) other remotes.Other than needing to solve the On/Off problem in the way that works best for you, it is a great little motor.
