30A Solar Charge Controller 12V/24V PWM Adjustable LCD Timer Auto Parameter

I brought 4 of these for caravan and shed installations, they are light, small and very well made. they have a metal backplate with a thermal strip on the internals to aid in heat dissapation. dispite the products vague description. i installed these with 265W solar panels with a peak of 30.5v and it has no issue charging and maintaining a 12v leisure battery. the battery charges at around 14v and will then when full will alternate between charging and standby.i have not used the load connections since this is not needed for any of my setups. make sure to follow the advice of connecting the battery before connecting the solar panels as this will set the brain to ensure it does not over charge/provide too much voltage to the battery if connected the wrong way.this has been running now for 2 weeks. i have 2 12v 105Ah batteries wired in parallel to produce 12v 210Ah and this pwm has worked flawlessly for my use. you can use the settings to reduce or increase the float coltage (max voltage used to charge a battery) you can also change the timings of the load circuit, and decide at what voltage the circuit will work on, so if the battery falls below 10v you can have it stop supplying to the load circuit.for the price, this is a fantastic bit of kit that will set you up for a small solar install!

Ok for the price, works well.

Connected this to 2 100w solar panels and a old car battery and get great power from the sun, it keeps the battery full when I use it. Dose the job I wanted and more, have used this setup at car boot to shoe buyers the house electrics we sell work. Thanks seller and Amazon. Will buy more when I get the chance.

Clear display, easy to set up. Charges steadily, no overheating. Good protection features.

I've had a very similar regulator for years and they do the job. This is a bit more sophisticated as you can program the various charging, switching and cutoff voltages. The rear can get quite hot when using the usb ports.Personally I would pay more and get the Bluetooth managed Victron regulators. They don't have usb ports but the management app connects via Bluetooth and provides a wealth of data and configuration control. In fact I did replace this with the Victron 10/75 Bluetooth regulator.

I followed all instructions. Unit stopped working after a couple of days and overheated to the point that it would have melted if I hadn’t disconnected it.

This is so much better than my previous solarger, I'm getting more power than before. I cant recommend this enough especially for the price.

This is straight-forward, no nonsense charge controller. I'm using it with a 50Ah LiFePO4 battery and a ~80W solar panel.It's easy took wire up and works well. The display is easy to read and the included USB ports is a nice touch.If you're not building a permanent setup and the battery will be disconnected often then be aware of the device connection order as shown in the product photos. I'll most likely place a switch in-line to the solar panel.Great value for the price.

En remplacement du même modèle qui a été livré défectueux, mais constaté bien plus du temps de la garantie, donc, en espérant que celui-ci sera opérationnel. Défaut du précédent : fonctionne, mais n'arrête pas la charge quand la batterie est pleine, soit : pousse à plus de 16,5 volt.

Esto me funciona perfectamente, pero desafortunadamente no tengo el equipo para probar si el voltaje que sale del panel se convierte completamente con este dispositivo, pero funciona muy bien tanto para cargar una batería de 12 V como para proporcionar una salida de 5 V para accionar una pequeña luz en el caso de este video.Este era el modelo más básico de controladores que vende Amazon y funciona bien.

Excelente funcionamiento, precio accesible y me ha solucionado incluso para mantener cargada una batería en un vehículo.
