This little Avantek wireless doorbell is exactly what I needed! Our old doorbell was on its last leg, and I didn't want to deal with the hassle and expense of rewiring. This one was super easy to install – literally just plugged the receiver into an outlet and stuck the button to my doorframe with the included adhesive. Took maybe five minutes, tops. I was a little worried about the range, as my house is fairly large, but the signal has been surprisingly strong. The button is on the opposite side of the house from where I plugged in the receiver, and it works perfectly. No missed deliveries or visitors anymore! The chime itself is nice and loud, but not obnoxious. There are also a ton of different chimes to choose from – I think I counted over 50! It was actually kind of fun going through them and picking one we liked. We settled on a classic "ding-dong," but it's nice to have options. The fact that it's waterproof is a big plus too. We've had some pretty heavy rain lately, and the button hasn't missed a beat. No worries about it getting damaged by the weather. For the price, this doorbell is an absolute steal. It's simple, it works, and it was incredibly easy to install. If you need a new doorbell, I highly recommend the Avantek Wireless Doorbell. It's a great little gadget that does exactly what it's supposed to do.

Works like a charm Our doorbell went out and did not want to rewire - this is an old Victorian home I found this on line and installed In 2 minutes Now I can get notified when a delivery is left on my porch. Simple solution no electrician required

Very nice. Loud enough. Seems to receive well 3 rooms away. Only problem the double sided tape didn't work.at all.

Unit was very easy to set up and saved the settings when unplugged just as advertised. If you're looking for a boring, basic doorbell sound this only has a couple, but I actually quite enjoy all of the available sounds it has. Many of the sounds are classic little songs that everyone knows shortened or slightly changed. Some examples are Für Elise, jingle bells, and the birthday song as well as a few animal sounds like dog, cat and bird. I was able to plug it into an extension cord so I could sit on my couch to go through all of the sounds and choose my settings, then I simply unplugged it and plugged it into an out of the way socket and the volume and sound settings stayed. Since we are renting I hung the doorbell button with command brand heavy duty velcro so we can take it easily without damage when we leave and bring it inside if needed. We can hear the tone through the whole house, even upstairs and the signal from button to main unit works even when it was plugged in over 20 feet away. Far better than I expected for the price.

Overall, this wireless doorbell system is excellent, far better than the old Heath-Zenith system I replaced. It worked perfectly out of the box; I just plugged the receiver into an outlet, then removed the protective film on the battery to enable the transmitter. Pressing the button, I immediately heard the default ding-dong sound from the receiver, at a nice volume setting. There are two ways to install the button. You can just stick it in place with a foam pad provided, which is sticky on both sides. But the foam pad is rather thick, so I decided to use the included wood screws. For some reason, the holes for the screws weren't pre-drilled. It was clear where they should go, so I just drilled two small holes through the plastic. A slight nuisance, but not enough to affect my overall rating. The receivers workd just fine at various locations in my house, including the basement and the garage. For now I just put one in the kitchen and one in the basement. I plan to add another one in the barn later. The reason I chose the kitchen is that it has a Bluetti EP500 to back up the refrigerator in case of power failure. One of the pictures shows the receiver plugged into the EPF500, just below an orange extension cord.

Works well. Bought one for my Mom. She loves it, especially with all the different sounds. Great buy. Battery lasts quite a while, still on it's first battery.

El timbre se siente de buena calidad, el sonido no es tan molesto, en comparación con algunos timbres baratos que podemos encontrar por ahí su color es en negro y es muy estético. Llego en tan solo 3 dias.

Not suitable for Singapore and it is very hard to plug in and it stop working frequently due to connection issue.

Good quality and worth the money.
