The light switch, unfortunately, is a bit on the fragile side, so it's crucial to handle it with care. Regrettably, I learned this the hard way as I accidentally broke one on my first attempt. So, while it's an amazing cake stand, just be mindful when operating the light switch.

I did not use this for a wedding but instead for a birthday party. I LOVE IT. I popped a little cake on top, cupcakes on the bottom, the included lights in the middle with decorations, and additional decorations on the bottom. My kids RAVED about it. Usually I buy larger desserts, but this lets you make your own small spread look awesome with a theme and still "big" without creating a bunch of food waste like an oversized cake. I truly love this! One con is that it does take up a decent amount of room when not in use. But I expect to use this multiple times a year, so it's worth it!

I love these because you can fill them with whatever- fresh flowers, fairy lights (there are 2 sets of AA battery-powered strings included with this set) , other desserts (we love putting French macarons in them) and then you place your cake on top. Each section’s lid has grooves that they fit down in, so you get a snug fit that does not slip. Like with anything acrylic you don’t want to put these through a dishwasher, but they’re easy to clean. Very happy with this cake stand set!
