Wheel Stand Pro for Logitech G29 / G920 / G25 / G27 Racing Wheel - DELUXE V2

The reviews said it would be good - I didn't realise how good. Brilliantly made, cleverly put together and solid as a rock. I'm playing Dirt Rally on it and I really thought the stand would get turned over - now I have it I can see that would be very unlikely. I'm really pleased with this. Here's my quick fire pluses:- reasonably quick to put together (took me 30 mins but would take many people less)- very solidly built- looks good- good enough cable management- packs away okMinuses:- would be even better if it packed away even smaller, but since that's against the laws of physics I will roll with it- I don't appear to immediately be the best driver ever in Dirt Rally. I'm sure I read somewhere that it would make me the best, but having re-read everything on this stand I must have imagined it- I expected some beautiful women to wander around when I won something and congratulate me. Apparently that's mainly just F1, and my wife says I am being unreasonable expecting the wheel stand people to send women over just because I won a rally in a computer game- it doesn't come with a crash helmet

On the whole i was really impressed with this product, it looks like they put a lot of thought into the design of it & it is really well made.The only one bad thing I would say but its going to be the same for any wheel stand is the cable management, normally you get a couple meters of cable yet you only need to travel 2 foot between the wheel & pedals, but a few cables ties & some tape around the central pole keeps everything neat & out the way.I actually ordered this stand for my cousin as I already have a stand for my own wheel setup but after helping him get his wheel all setup on this Wheel Stand Pro i was left a little jealous, mainly just the ease of it, its literally one quick release clamp & its all folded away, where as mine is bigger, heavier, takes longer to pack away & isn't anywhere as neat or as well built.Once we got it opened we were happy to see that the main unit itself comes pre built, the only thing we had to fit was the mount for the shifter which makes sense as not everyone will have the shifter add on, but even then it was just two screws & bolts. (we did need a crosshead screwdriver & a pair of pliers for this step but all other tools needed are included)On top of that aslong as you order the correct stand for your wheel ie Logitech ect the stand will come pre drilled so that your wheel will bolt straight on to the stand without any drilling or messing about, it also comes with all nuts bolts & even the tools to set up your wheel.In your box you will receive (note this was for the Logitech G920 version of the stand)1xWheel Stand1xShifter mount1xBar for pedal mount2xscrews & nuts for shifter plate5x bolts for wheel & shifter & pedal fixings2x cable ties2x allen keys1x 10mm spanner

More than happy with the product. I ordered on the Sunday morning and by Wednesday morning it had arrived.Takes a while to put together as instructions are poor and supporting videos not great but after a bit of trial and error it comes together in no time at all.Comes with all the bolts needed. My only really worry/negative is that pedals is only secure by one bolt, only time will tell if that's an issue or not.The quality of the stand is great. Very strong and sturdy with no wobble.Follow the video clip for wire management and hiding the battery pack. Very clever and worth doing.Once put together it's only natural to turn it on and play a game and that's when you work out all the angles you need to be. Centre poll not a problem with breaking, but it feels weird which has effected left foot breaking but I'm sure with practise I'll get the hang of it.I can't afford a racing chair in costs and space so this is an excellent alternative.

Like most people, for years I used an old table or computer desk and a chair. It took ages to setup and felt more like an event that needed some planning.The Wheel Stand Pro is superb. You can leave the wheel and pedals fitted and simply fold it away when you're not using it. It takes just a couple of minutes to get plugged in and ready to go, I now find I'm firing up some games more often than I used to.In terms of build quality, just brilliant. It's quite heavy so there's little in the way of movement, even when putting the wheel through its paces. Whilst a dedicated seat/frame style setup will ultimately be better, I do believe you'll struggle to find something better within this category.If you're thinking about buying one, click the button, you won't be disappointed.

All the reviews of this unit were positive so I bit the bullet and bought one to use with a Logitech G25 wheel on both PS3 and PC driving games. It takes a little while to assemble and you'll need a 10mm spanner / socket but all the other tools are included. Once assembled it is rock solid with adjustable ergonomics that allow you to find a comfortable driving position. The biggest thing for me though is that it can stay assembled and all the cables can be velcro'd in position. This saves me lots of time and means I just need to power up the wheel and plug in a USB cable rather than spending 10-15 minutes faffing about with the numerous cables that the G25 has whilst clamping the wheel on to a suitable table. Great purchase that really has revolutionised my driving experience and allows me to get the most from what is a very expensive wheel. As it stays assembled, I think the wheels will last a lot longer too. Much less risk of damage to the unit / cables.
