VallejoModel Color 60 ml Medium Glaze Bottle

I’m certainly not an expert painter but this glaze medium is good value for money and is very useful both for thinning down your paints and also for glazing, where you use a thinner layer of paint to add extra richness or to smooth over transitions between shades and highlights. It’s great stuff and I’d get it again.

This is similar to Lahmiam by Citadel but slighter thicker. It will add matte finish and proctect the paint when dried. Vallejo is also must have if you paint minutures :)

Dose what it should

The glaze works really well when painting miniatures! It makes glazing gradients easy, with no weird water marks.

Excellent product, has made glazing more consistent and faster. Will last for ages, great value.

After you start using this you'll never go back to thinning with water ever again. It makes the paint flow from the brush better and provides a more even and regular coat. It really helps with getting better results from typically more claggy colours too such as whites. For me this has been a game changing medium and has allowed me to take my painting to the next level. Top stuff!

am a first time haveing a go and this stuff helps no end with my lerning cerve?am so happy with this water just did not cut it for me, new infuse for trying to paint minis try it

Great bit of kit

Useful for thinning your paints while maintaining good cohesion and a good consistency. Note that this is less viscous and slower drying than using something like Liquitex matte medium - I find both useful in different situations.

It is great to make any Color into a glaze. I have been using it with some very old lumpy paints, and it seems to work like a medium for those if I use a good ratio of paint to glaze as well.

Este medio para veladuras/glazes de Vallejo es mi poción mágica personal para realizar trabajo de veladuras con pincel cuando pinto miniaturas. Para mí hubo un antes y un después de empezar a usarlo y, sin lugar a dudas, es estupendo para su uso con las pinturas de la línea Model Color cuando se desea realizar transiciones suaves entre el color base y las luces de las partes salientes.
