Full of wisdom. Each story melts into the best part of you and stays with you to help you. Stories are frames/blueprints through which we learn to train our mind, when we recognize their counterparts in daily life.

Learned a lot from this book. As usual all his books opens many doors to secrets of life. Thank you so much.

Paulo Coelho excels at incorporating meaning and lessons into a story. For example, he narrates a story about a couple putting up their Christmas lights and the husband focuses on the one bulb that is out. The wife says, "Instead of seeing the past year as dozens of bright lights, you can see only the one bulb that didn’t light up anything." The lesson is perspective. Do you see focus on the one thing that went wrong or the many things that have went right? Another gold nugget is: "Only by having the courage to follow a path will the path reveal itself." And this one: "Everything around us is constantly changing. Each day, the sun lights up a new world. What we call routine is full of new ideas and opportunities, but we don’t notice that each day is different from the previous one. Today, somewhere, a treasure awaits you. It might be a little smile; it might be a major conquest—it doesn’t matter. Life is made up of miracles small and large. Nothing is boring, because everything is constantly changing. There is no tedium in the world, only the way we look at the world."

This is a beautiful book, a wonderful read that you can pick up any time and continue the moment you begin reading this. So insightful. I bought this also for a gift for a friend who was so happy and loved it as well with the Alchemist, The size is wonderful because it's light and on the small size. Also a great price. I think you will find all of the reviews positive! It is very much inspirational.

This book is a selection of mostly single page short stories. There are a "few" gems, but mostly these are pretty obvious, much more preachy and Christian specific (even with the inclusion of some Buddhist/Hindu bits). Not fulfilling - got to a point where we had to just trudge through it to get done.

This book is a treasure trove of insights that often goes unnoticed. I advise reading 1-2 stories a day. This helps you keep life in perspective and be grateful for each day. It's a wonderful companion for anyone seeking daily inspiration and a renewed sense of gratitude.

I like this book. It is good to contemplate what is written in it. I recommend this book to Paolo Coelho readers.

Filled with spirituality and parables that ground you in wisdom. Coelho's writing can be anchored in mystery and so it takes wisdom to read with understanding. If you want perfect alignment and wisdom in understanding your inner being this is the book that will guide you to deal with life.

A travelogue of life experiences and learnings. Simple daily anecdotes and stories for a simple life. A chapter a day will keep you grounded and at peace.

Great hard cover edition with a beautiful cover. It did come with a slight fold on the cover but I kept it as Amazon did not guarantee the same hard cover edition as a replacement. Worth it.

Anything Paulo Coelho is amazing !

I was afraid at first because I knew you can't recreate the Alchemist experience but what he has done is write experiences side by side that allow you to reflect on what you have learned since you first read the Alchemist. It is surprising how much wisdom is here and how it can revive the first notions I had from him in the Alchemist and Warrior of light. It doesn't try to reinvent the wheel which I appreciate it just takes me back to why I needed to read Paulo Coelho in the first place.
