Works well, easy to set up.
I bought these fans for my garage, which I'm converting into a man cave-type area as a gift for my husband. I didn't want anything heavy, and I wanted to be able to move them around to find the best place for them. These were perfect. They're quiet, lightweight, put out a decent amout of air, and are easy to put together. They have a pretty long cord, which is nice. Some people have complained that the cord twists around it and pulls out. This happens because the hanger allows you to just hang it on a hook, where it can turn and get the cord wrapped around. I just used some short zip ties to fasten the hanger so it stays more stationary, and it seems to work. Some people have complained about blades flying out. I haven't had that problem, but my guess is those people didn't realize you have to push the blades all the way in until they snap in place. These are very lightweight and I get why some people think they look cheap. But once they're up there, they look fine for my purposes.

Lasted 2 Months/UPDATE...
We didn't expect it to be as small as it was when we got it and we had high doubts of it actually putting out any wind. We were pleasantly surprised at how powerful it was, and living in AZ, we need to run it nonstop. I can only give a 2-star rating because while it was compact and blew out air like no tomorrow...1. The hanger causes a clicking noise on the hook it's hanging from (we had to dampen the annoying noise with a small bit of duct tape) because it really is that powerful and moves on the hook when the fan is spinning, a quick fix with the duct tape, and 2. *Most Importantly: It only lasted two months before it completely died on us. At first, we thought it was the batteries in the remote after someone had possibly turned it off. Changed the batteries and still nothing. It wanted to go, we could hear the motor grinding, it just wouldn't. The motor couldn't handle running it nonstop apparently. A really good buy for the price if you don't need it to run nonstop for months at a time.UPDATE: After leaving my review, the manufacturer immediately contacted me to make things right. I was sent a new fan at no charge and without having to return the broken one (which I am thankful for as I'd already thrown it away). The new one has me sleeping like a baby under nice cooling air. The fan works as advertised and is noiseless and throws out a nice strong wind. I am quite impressed with the company as they went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with their product. Thank you Mengnessly for reaching out to this customer and making things right, not many companies care that much these days!

Stopped Working
I have only had this fan for a little over a month and it already stopped working. The remote works, nothing wrong with wall plugs, or extension cord. I turned it off when I left the house this morning and now it won't turn back on.

Great fan, moves a lot of air!
After reviewing many different fans, I found this one to have the best value and functionality. You have 3 different ways you can power this fan. It includes a decent remote (usable distance is short) with 3 different speed options and 3 different sleep timer intervals. It does have a lot of torque on startup so you have to secure it well to something strong/sturdy.Been using it for 2 months in my RV now and haven't had any issues. Normally I wake up in a pool of sweat however with this fan I wake up cool and sweat free.Highly recommended.

Small but effective
This fan was easy to assemble - just pop in the blades and plug in the power cord. It needs a good hook to attach to, like at the top of my back yard canopy. It makes a slight humming sound, but background noise like music or a breeze covers it well. With three speeds, it moves the right amount of air for the current conditions. The remote control is a plus and works well, sounding a faint beep when activated.

Worked great, for 2 months
The media could not be loaded. I live in a very old apartment with no ceiling fans, and I didn’t want to mess around with the electrical and potentially lose out on my security deposit by installing one, so I purchased this as an alternative. I used heavy duty command hooks to attach it to my ceiling and I was pleasantly surprised with the breeze it put out, even at the lowest setting! It kept me very comfortable for about two months, but then it completely stopped working. Like other reviewers have said, the remote works just fine and you can hear the motor grinding, but nothing moves. Bummed to have to find yet another alternative! I was really hoping this would’ve been my solution to beat the heat this summer

Best $35 spent
I have used this fan almost 24/7 for the last 6 months. It is starting to have some issues turning on. I will 100% be ordering another for when my original one finally dies. It is very quite while running, the 3 speeds are amazing for moving air around the room and if it runs for 6 months it’s well worth the price.

Short lived
When I first received this fan, I loved it and thought it was perfect for my front porch. It was easy to install and worked great...until it threw 3/5 blades! Yes, I had them installed correctly. One day, on medium speed, they flew off endangering me and my pets who were on the porch. I reinstalled them but ever since, the fan has not worked. It hums when I try to turn it on but will not turn. I have to add that I have only had this fan about a month. I'm not saying it's a bad product but I guess you get what you pay for.

VERY UNHAPPY
My original review was great - however... since then it has stopped working only 1 month later. Item was delivered August 2nd, and they will not stand behind it. In addition, this is the second fan we bought because the first fan crapped out within 5 minutes. The second fan worked for a 4 weeks, and it now has crapped out as well. Very poor quality and not happy with this purchase at all. They are saying it is past the return date - so very unhappy they will not stand behind what they are selling :(

A very good, cheaper alternative fan
I purchased this Mengnessly 28" plug-in ceiling fan to go under my covered deck, and liked it so much, that I bought a second one. It takes the edge off in the heat, when sitting or eating out on the deck. I used an extension lead to connect the two together and you can use just the one controller to turn both of them on, if pointed correctly. There were two modifications I made to each fan. One was to put some padding around the hanging hook to ease some vibration and the second was to tape down the power plug into the top of the fan. I found that it would work loose after a while. Other than that, it works as it's supposed too and am very happy with the price of each fan.

Make sure you CLICK the blades in
Can't stress it enough when inserting the blades, it won't do the trick unless you hear the click! The remote is a bit hit and miss and the main spindle has a bit of a kick to it when activated or stepping the motor up or down so best to secure it tightly if using the hook. Provides a nice breeze in my gazebo making a humid day (near 30 degrees Celsius/86 Fahrenheit) actually comfortable. Other than that, it works - a decent product for a good price!
