I have tried everything. Walk-in harnesses, general, everyday harnesses, and even the popular Joyride harness (great harness, btw), but they just weren't "the one." It's even more difficult with a long, slender basset hound that pulls ALL THE TIME. This harness.... As long as you measure your dog properly... I don't see how it couldn't be the perfect harness for any athletic dog. It's amazing! And it's stitched so sturdy, with both a metal ring and a separate, fabric ring, too, to pick from where to leash. It fits so perfectly after adjustment, even though it's bulkier than some harnesses, it fits comfortably. It doesn't lean side to side as much as other harnesses that hook on the top of the back. It stays in place. And the handle is very reinforced. If you have a basset hound, you HAVE to have a handle. This harness is rugged and perfect for any dog that hikes a lot. What a quality harness. You really do get what you pay for. This harness is worth every penny. Thank you! It's a lifesaver!

Very nice harness (it’s stiff but I’m sure it will break in after a few outings). My dog’s girth is 27” so that’s on the upper size limit for a small and lower limit for a medium. I ordered the medium because it was ready to ship for quicker delivery and it fits very well. Our foster escaped the harness the shelter gave us so I’m very happy to have this rugged 3 strap model (sure seems like it would be hard for her to back out of… fingers crossed). Only con: no buckle on the part that goes over their head so you have to either lift their leg or get your dog to step into it; the two back straps both have easy snap buckles.

We went thru so many harnesses with our boxer who is an escape artist! This one exceeds all the others by far! I feel so much better walking him knowing he wont get away from me! Just BUY IT!

The buckle where the straps cross at the front (chest) broke after 3 uses. I was going to return it (I still got a refund) but I was able to fix it with a carabiner and you can’t even tell since it tucks between the padding.

I bought this harness 5 years ago for my dog who was famous for getting spooked and backing out of every other harness we had for her. I took a leap with this harness and wondered if it would be worth the cost, and I have to say that after 5 years of consistent daily use, it is still holding up great. It's starting to show it's age with some minimal fading and dirt, but everything else is still very secure. I've had no rips in the material or tears on the straps. My dog is only 39 pounds but can pull pretty hard, and will at times pull back really hard as well....not once has she escaped this harness. I would suggest having a leash with a locking carabiner as my dog is a "spinner" before she does her business and that has caused other leashes to pop off. The handle on top has also come in handy for helping her up into the car after 2 TPLO surgeries as well. I love this harness and will never use anything different on any dog I own.

I love this 3 ring harness, my dog is a magician when it comes to getting out of regular harnesses and collars, he can not get out of this harness even if his life depended on it! It has changed our outdoor adventures from me being scared of him getting away to me feeling completely confident we will be leaving our adventure together when said adventure is complete

J'adore ! Tous les harnais que j'avais utilisé avant tournaient sur le dos de mon chien... Très agaçant. Celui-ci tient en place, ne gêne pas la foulée de mon chien et en plus il est visible en forêt !

Je suis fan des harnais et colliers de Ruffwear; ils sont de grande qualité, durables et présentent de belles couleurs. Toutefois, j'ai été désappointée par ce modèle de Ruffwear. Bien que j'ai commandé la même grandeur que pour les autres produits de la même marque (c'est-à-dire médium pour un chien de 50 livres), le harnais était beaucoup trop grand pour mon chien. Il m'étais tout simplement impossible que ce harnais "fit" sur mon chien. La superficie de la partie dorsale était immense et descendait beaucoup trop bas de chaque côté de son dos, si bien que mon chien était très mal à l'aise dès que je lui ai mis sur le dos. En revanche, la qualité était toujours au rendez-vous, et la couleur sublime. J'ai toutefois dû le retourner, malheureusement.

I bought this harness specifically because I could adjust the length of the harness across his sternum. I previously had a two point harness which was chaffing my dogs armpits due to his deep chest. Love the orange color and fits my dog great. My dog is 60lbs with a body composition similar to a whippet or greyhound. My only qualm is that this style doesn’t have a chest loop or D-ring.

Artikel macht erstmal einen guten Eindruck. Wie er sich im harten Alltag bewährt bleibt abzuwarten. Keine Edelstahl Ösen. Es wäre schön, wenn das Geschirr vorne und hinten eine Öse aus Edelstahl hätte. Der Anbieter "FluxPerfect" ist leider zu teuer, daher besser anderweitig bestellen. Wir haben stolze 78,00 € bezahlt. Man bekommt das Geschirr anderweitig bereits ab 68,00 €.
