Good torque wrench as far as I know I have yet to use it to confirm whether it's good or not

My husband is very pleased with this torque wrench set because it’s very easy for him to use and he feels it’s excellent quality too. He says it’s very strong, sturdy and durable so the set will last him a long time and it’s got a storage case with it which is also pretty handy. The set has got a good range of drive bits in it which he says are a breeze to use. He hasn’t come across any problems with the set and he feels it’s very good value for money because it works well and does exactly what he needs it to do. So we happily recommend it and give it a thumbs up!

A little research shows that torque wrenches (you know, a socket spanner that you set how tight you need it to be so as to only tighten to manufacturer specifications- quite essential in, for example, car maintenance) from unbranded manufacturers work out around £40, without accessories. So this has allowed around £12 or so for the sturdy box, and the useful little range of sockets supplied. I think that’s pretty good value and a great start to the review.What do you get, and is it accurate?Firstly, you get a sturdy, legible, and seemingly well-made 3/8" inch, 120Nm torque wrench with a stated error range ±3%, and with micro adjustments to 1 NM.The manufacturer states that this meets the requirements of ISO 6789-1:2017, GB/T 15729 and ASME B107.14M and test methods for conformance testing. I have no way to check this other than against my very best torque wrench from that well known franchised tool company - and believe me, their price was a LOT higher, as you’d expect). The fact that this maker quotes the testing standard is a good thing- it shows that at the very least, they know what their product should meet. The two wrenches agreed, on testing, to well within a reasonable tolerance - in fact, both read identically as far as I could tell. Excellent stuff!What brought further confidence was their statement that each and every tool was hand tested before despatch. Again, I can’t prove it, but the very close agreement with my professional gear inspires confidence.Secondly, you get a small set of sockets, covering all the really commonly used ones - there are 14 of these in all -Imperial measure - 3/4", 11/16", 5/8", 9/16", 1/2", 7/16", 3/8".Metric measure - 10mm, 11mm, 13mm, 14mm, 15mm, 17mm, 19mm.And there’s a 3/8" extension bar which measures 3"/7.6cm.And the case, which is tough enough for home and hobby workshop use, for sure.Overall,Well, what’s not to like?It comes in a good, sturdy case.It was accurate in measurementIt includes the most-used socketsAnd the maker offers a 1 year warranty service.The manufacturer states they are so confident about their high quality wrenches that if I have any product problems, they will reply and try to solve within 12 hours.Excellent - very much recommended.

The media could not be loaded.  Today I received two torque wrenches but one of them is stuck and the lid of the torque wrench is broken.

I had a sudden need to put together a heavy duty trolley/dolly, and this needed some bolts screwed in. In steps this wrench set.The set has the ability to set the torque of the ratchet mechanism, so no danger of stripping the threads by over tightening the bolts. Setting the torque is not overly complicated. The wrench appeared to react at increasing pressures when I increased the torque setting, although I have no way of measuring that accuracy.The set feels sturdy, and using it was easy.What I would say, is I either didn't have enough coffee, or the instructions could do with a slight improvement. There is a little knob on the top of the wrench for unlocking the socket from being attached to the wrench. This passed me by, and I spent about 10 minutes trying to remove the socket from the bar as I thought it had jammed. The I accidentally pressed the button, and the socket released freely.
