It works with plenty of product left to clean and oil the filter again.

Used this kit to clean the Airaid filter in my 2001 Ford f150. I have a few notes while using this kit. The cleaner is powerful stuff. Apply it outside or in a well ventilated space. It makes your breathing passages burn... Once you've cleaned the filter, do as the instructions suggest and place the filter in front of a fan to dry. Otherwise the filter could take 1-2days to dry and that means 1-2days without a vehicle. Once dry, I applied just enough oil to make the filter turn red in appearance. In the end I was left with about half my cleaning fluid and half my oil remaining. This kit should last you through two cleanings.

My filter was extremely dirty and this product did an excellent job cleaning and oiling it up. I saw immediate gains in power and fuel mileage. Be sure to use gloves when using the cleaner as it is very hard on the skin. But since it did such a good job cleaning the filter it is definitely worth it.
