Awesome egg soaps!
Makes a perfect egg soap. A little hard to get out of the mold, well sort it!

Doesn't work.
There is no way to unmold the food. It just breaks apart. I read where one reviewer said to freeze the food in the mold, but I can't freeze the ingredients that I am using. Total waste of money and now another product is in the landfill!

Realistic gelatin eggs
The media could not be loaded. Works perfectly! Great looking eggs and easy to use. I'm not eating these, but if you want realistic gelatin eggs for personal enjoyment, this will do the trick.

Impractical for culinary uses
After reading other reviews, I tried greasing the inside of the mold and cutting four slits into the top of each egg mold slot. It was still very difficult to squeeze things out, and always resulted in an ugly mess. Would not recommend for anything that isn't intended to be firm. Won't be returning since I modified it with kitchen shears.

Worked sorta
To be fair I used it to make jello eggs. It was hard to get them out through the opening because they're so soft. I had to cut the bottoms off. Buuuuut I'm pretty sure if you used them for what they're actually for, you'd have no issue.

A Good Enough product
This review is tailored to my purpose of using this mold; creating gelatin eggs to decorate and display. The mold itself is a bit flimsy and can be a bit annoying to get to stand all eight eggs upright when cooling in the fridge or freezer. However, for gelatin eggs, freezing them before pushing them out from the base of the egg worked extremely well, no flaws yet and I’m two batches in. The eggs come out with a little struggle and I can see it being an issue with a more brittle and less malleable substance. For Gelatin eggs, this works. Can’t say for anything else with certainty, though.

Easy to use
The first batch said to use a spray coating. Not necessary. Easy to pour jello into and easy to pop the jello out. I will be buying some more

It’s a great product well-designed! I’m looking forward to making lots of chocolate marshmallows for Easter!
