Amazing!
As a regular CS2 player, I’m always on the lookout for gear that gives me a competitive edge, and the HyperX Cloud III Wireless headset delivers in more ways than one. Right out of the box, the build quality feels premium, with a sleek black-and-red design and a durable yet lightweight frame. After several hours of gameplay, I can confidently say this headset is a solid choice for FPS enthusiasts.### Sound QualityThe 53mm angled drivers make a noticeable difference in CS2, where sound positioning is critical. Footstep audio is crisp and easy to pinpoint, giving me a clear advantage in clutch moments. The bass is deep enough to make gunfire and explosions immersive but not so overpowering that it drowns out the mids and highs. The balanced sound profile is perfect for competitive gaming, where every detail counts.### ComfortThe memory foam ear cushions are an absolute game-changer. Even during marathon CS2 sessions, the headset stays comfortable with no pressure or fatigue. The adjustable headband also ensures a snug fit without being too tight, which is a huge plus for long play sessions.### MicrophoneThe 10mm detachable microphone is another highlight. My teammates have commented on how clear my callouts are, with no distortion or background noise. The mic’s quality makes it perfect for tactical communication, which is crucial in CS2 matches.### Battery and ConnectivityThe 120-hour battery life is no joke. I’ve gone several days of heavy use without needing to charge, and the 2.4GHz wireless connection is flawless—no noticeable latency or dropouts, which is essential in a fast-paced game like CS2. The range is also impressive; I can grab a drink from the kitchen without losing the connection.### DrawbacksIf I had to nitpick, the headset’s sound signature might not appeal to audiophiles who prefer a more neutral profile for music, but that’s not its primary purpose. Additionally, while the wireless connection is solid, I wish there was a wired option as a backup, just in case.### VerdictFor CS2 players, the HyperX Cloud III Wireless checks all the boxes: excellent sound positioning, all-day comfort, reliable connectivity, and an outstanding microphone. It’s a headset built with competitive gamers in mind, and it shows. While it might not replace a studio headset for music, it excels at what it’s designed to do—give you the edge in your favorite games.

It’s actually partially made of metal and not plastic!!!
Very, very glad to see that this headset is made with metal instead of cheap plastic in a lot of areas, this is very nice to see in this day & age. Unfortunately it seems to be the case that most manufacturers make everything out of plastic and it breaks and feels cheap. Of course there is plastic used in this product but the ear cups themselves and the red (very nicely painted) bits that go up and into the head band are metal. That is great to see and makes these seem great quality. The setup is incredibly easy. Plug and play. They just work. Plug the dongle in, select the correct audio output device in Windows, turn the headset on. Done. I’ve had no connectivity issues, the audio quality is good and the mic quality is also reportedly good, much better than my iPhone 15 which I was using in lieu of a headset previously.I do have one issue with the mic however, it seems to somehow struggle to detect my voice when I talk quietly which, I just do, most of the time without realising it. The odd thing is lowering voice activation levels to try and resolve this just causes the mic to transmit at all times. How is the background noise of a fan on low a metre and a half away detected yet my voice a centimetre or two away, not detected. This doesn’t happen all the time, this isn’t a huge issue but it is frustrating having to repeat myself. This never happened on my iPhone.Comfort wise, please note I have not used the standard ear cushions/pads at all, I purchased wicked cushions which I used on day one. I do find them fairly comfortable, they do not slide off of my head, have good clamping pressure and seem to be comfortable over longer gaming sessions but they could be better. Again, please note this may be down to the Wicked Cushions I installed and not because of the headset. The battery life is very good.Overall, for the price I paid (under £100) these are extremely good value. I’m very happy with them and they look great. The fit and finish is excellent. They feel and sound premium, it’s a shame about the mic issues but that could be down to me being quiet but again this was never an issue using my iPhone just randomly chucked somewhere in my general vicinity which is odd.

Very durable
Upgraded from the hyperx wired. These are the best headsets, you only go through breaking and replacing cheaper ones it's just not worth it. My lad is clumsy and breaks everything, these last and are worth the extra.

9/10 for the price
These headphones are a insanely great pair for the price and I would recommend them to multiple people who game.Pros:-Sound quality is great in my opinion as I had razer kairas and they werent holding up as well.-Connectivity is great as I could go around 100m away and they would still stay connected with no delay.-Design wise it is great.-Confortability is insanely good the pleather is very plush and soft especially the headband but the earpads could be a bit thicker.- Functionality is also great and I haven't had a single problem yet.- The battery is life is top notch and haven't had them die on me yet.Cons:- The pleather at the headband is a bit worn out looking but Id say its just adjusting to my head.
