best notebooks I've found. a pure pleasure to write in
I've now purchased this set of two grid notebooks 3x--they are so great I am afraid amazon will sell out and I won't be able to find them again.packaging is earth friendly. paper is recycled; notebook front and back are an old fashioned brown cardstock thick enough to be stiff, thin enough to not be bulky. the feel of the cover is very nice.logo looks like cool letterpress..size of the notebook is ideal, as is the grid size. I've found some grids too large others too small, this grid size is literally the exact one to write on and get the ideal letter and word size. not sure I can describe it properly, that is as close as I can get. feeling a little like Goldilocks here haha.another reviewer said the notebook pages did not lay flat, I have not had this problem. mine lay totally flat.paper thickness is just right--thick enough no bleed or rips, and also feels substantial when writing on it. once again, the designers nailed it. have tried over 20 types of ballpoint roller ball and fountain pens on this paper with diff color inks as well as maybe 6 colors of highlighter: no bleed. the only bleed was from a thick sharpie permanent marker.the grid itself is super thin so it does not interfere with the visual of your entire page when you have it filled out. not bright distracting, soft (I'm guessing) brown (?), which is easy on the eyes and coupled with the ivory / off white color of the pages, super eye friendly. don't worry, it's not a dark ivory or off white, it's just not a super bright eye bleed sort of sitch. comforting for the eyes and a great color combo. it feels organic to use and look at, and I mean that in the best possible way.everything is so natural in this notebook it feels right: hand feel, weight of paper, size of page, even the metal wire binding is double weight and looks just right. it's well designed and thought out, a real pleasure to use.after writing this, should buy more just in case? yes this notebook has turned me into a notebook hoarder.

Thick Paper; my favorite notebook
I use ink that usually bleeds through paper (Pentel 247 medium roller ball) because I like my writing to be easy to write but still clearly visible. Because of this, I needed thick paper. This notebook’s paper’s thickness is very nice. It does not bleed through! I can barely see my writings on the other side of the page. If you want thick and nice paper, that’s also recycled I believe, get this notebook! It is good! Not only the paper’s thickness, but the design is very pretty and simple. It looks natural. And the fact that it is recycled paper makes me happy! The only thing that I don’t absolutely love about this notebook is the spring gets out of the holes on the end sometimes. It’s not a big deal, but I wanted to write down the pros and cons. I think most notebooks with springs are like this so that is fine. The papers feel nice, and there are many pages! It is expensive for a student like me to purchase, but I would say that it is definitely worth the money for what I want from a note book. The size and quality is good. I wish I could have another one. I would really like to purchase more when I earn more money! I personally really wanted a graph notebook that had thick paper, so I am very glad that I found this notebook. If you are like me, someone who likes to write and is looking for tick paper, this is, I would say, the perfect notebook.Thank you Le Vent!

A notebook for grownups
Love these! Very heavy paper that resists bleed through with a fountain pen. I wanted a notebook that I would not chuck aside like a kid’s school notebook. I have these for notes and projects that I want to keep around for a long time. Even the covers are thick and durable. More speedy than most paper supplies but, hey, it’s okay to splurge once in a while, no?

Exactly what I was looking for in a grid-print notebook
One of the best notebooks i’ve ever used! I’m super picky about my notebooks - have to be the right type of paper, and the grid lining has to be the right size! This checks all the boxes! Lots of room on the page, pens and highlights don’t bleed though. The graph/grid format is in a nice pale ink so my handwriting pops and doesn’t get lost in the grid. I love that there’s a date/subject line at the top too. Pages are cut well so they turn with ease, and the hard cover has made it durable, and great for writing on the go.

Comfortable
I like the paper and rule. My only gripe is that the cover stock is really heavy. So these notebooks are pretty heavy physically. I may buy again. We'll see how the notebook holds up for a full semester.Comfortable to write in. Contrast is good. I prefer yellow, but this is an off white.

They make me a better student because they are so nice to write in.
These notebooks are excellent - the pages are an off white/cream which makes them easier on the eye and excellent for taking notes. I like the size of the grid, and the texture of the paper is quite thick so there is little transparency between pages when using black ink. The covers are a beautiful thick kraft which feels so much nicer than the hard plastic used in many notebooks, and it's thicker than many cardboard covers out there so the book maintains it's structure nicely.I am working my way through my 4th notebook at the moment and I honestly feel I've come this far because I actually enjoy writing in these. Thank you Le Vent!

Worth the Price
I was a bit hesitant to buy this graph paper due to the pricing. I have bought similar products at Walmart for a fraction of the price. However, once opening my package I can definitely see the quality differences in the products. This graph notebook has a very sturdy cover and binding is very nice. The quality of the paper is also very good. Pages are all aligned beautifully and no bleeding on backside when using markers or pens. I think it is a good value for your money.
