This is my favorite traveler's notebook die from Sizzix, however, I have to say, after owning it, I realized that you can easily make the covers without needing this expensive die. There are plenty of tutorials online that provide cutting measurements to make your own. I also found it hugely disappointing with the rather misleading cover that seems to suggest that you can use faux leather or "pleather" or vegan leather to create the covers. You can, BUT, there is so much bulk where the two die cut covers for the front and back cover overlap, its not very practical. Also faux leather is not sturdy so it will just be a flimsy cover at best. Laminating the covers after they have been cut out from your favorite paper is a fun option that makes the covers sturdier, however, you need to be careful to not trim too close to the edge, otherwise you will loose the seal that binds the two pieces of laminate to the paper covers and it will be ruined. I wouldn't even bother to buy the coordinating thinlet dies to make your pages, insert covers and pockets, with a ruler you can easily figure out what measurements you need to make your own without needing a die.

Great for making planners & journals. I even laminated the covers.

Love it. Just wish the covers and folders extended past the papers in the inserts. But still so much easier than al the measuring and cutting in DYI.

Used this die with Kraft-tex and layered it with papers inside and out to give a bit more structure. Pocket in second photo is included with this die which was useful. Die doesn't have score lines, so is more easy to use with fabrics, Kraft-tex and laminated papers. It is a handy size and I found small notebooks fit without having to be cut down. Makes a lovely journal, especially with the extra set (need to purchase separately) to do pages and more pockets (shown in the last photo.)
