SMALL SINGLE PORT USB 3.0 CAR MOUNT FLUSH CABLE

This worked great to create a plugin port for devices on my car with an aftermarket stereo. It looked really nice after install and performed well.

I used a step drill bit, those cone shaped bits. Once I punched through dash, it was just big enough to slide my new usb port in. I used this narrow one for my CarPlay stereo. It works great and makes the stereo install look clean and professional.

I didn't use the bracket that came with it as I have a space in my center console for a USB plug that was never installed from the factory. this is a functional piece but, I feel the spring latches could be stronger and grippier. while it is staying in place I feel I will need to either glue it in place or replace it completely if it becomes an issue.

Nice product that included a bracket but I just drilled a 1" hole and popped it in. Made expanding a carplay stereo USB to the dash look professional.

I used this panel mount for a project to install a USB outlet in my overhead console to power my dash cam. I was tired of having the cord hang down. I also bought an adapter to connect this to existing power lines in the headliner - I think they were for the compass. I had a stepped drill bit to drill the panel in a spot near the windshield with enough clearance behind the panel to accommodate the depth of this outlet. The only struggle I had was that I had to cut tiny slots in the sides of the hole to allow the ears on the side of the outlet to slide in. After all that, I connected a 1-ft USB cord to my dash cam and plugged it in. It all works great and looks clean. I'd buy this again for this project. If I could change anything, I'd ask for a shorter cord and I'd love to have one of these in tan to match the headliner. The black stands out, but otherwise it's a clean install.

The side mounting bracket worked out great, its almost a hard resin plastic. It almost feels like metal. Super strong and sturdy, glad i picked this one. The USB port works like a champ and I would recommend and would buy again for sure.

Its essentially an extension cord for USB with a mounting bracket for the back of your furniture.

I mounted this in my partners car so she could connect her phone to the new as I installed a new Digital stereo head system. It works well and was easy to mount.

The plug is very tight and that’s better as it makes for a very positive connection. Won’t come off inadvertently.

Great little USB extension. Fits well inside cigarette ports (replace the original part) and allows data pass through for Android Auto.
