Compressor wasn’t stay on. It would click on and off so I decided to purchase this relay and overload switch. Problem resolved. Easy to replace and save $140, house call. Parts cost $15. Freezer and refrigerator was cold within 2 hours. It’s been two weeks and has been working awesome!

I ordered this relay and switch for my 1.7 cu ft mini fridge. My fridge uses a 2 pin relay which is impossible to find anywhere...this one is 3 pins. It turns out, on my 2 pin relay, the #2 pin was a dummy, and purely there just to hold a loose cable in place. So technically, my fridge's relay is a single pin relay so I bought the wrong one. This one is 3-pin and immediately blew up when I plugged it in because it shorted the #1 and #2 pins. If you're in the same boat as me, just buy the single pin relay. Only buy this if your is in fact 3 pins. The relay itself has a nice sturdy ceramic disc inside that should heat up fine and the pins are easy to insert. Perfect fit for my fridge, just the wrong configuration.
