This review is for "Tnvodejo 72V 3A Lead Acid Battery Charger for Electric Bicycle Scooter go-Kart ebike (Not for Li ion Batteries)", ASIN B0BNH251H5.The Tnvodejo arrived quickly and was packed tight in a cardboard box which was lined with 1/2" foam for protection. Very nice! The adapter is rather large but lightweight, which I hope means that there's plenty of room for ventilation inside. The cords for AC in and DC out are each about 27in long, and the DC out end in a typical 5.2mm plug. The kit includes six different plug adapters which add another 9" to the output cord length for a final length of 36".I did not purchase the Tnvodejo to charge a scooter battery. I purchased the Tnvodejo so that I could use it to charge the external 72v SLA battery bank attached to my UPS. In the case of a power outage, I may use the Tnvodejo with a fuel-sipping 700W portable inverter generator to charge the battery bank very efficiently.I tested charging the 72v battery bank with the Tnvodejo charger and it seemed to work perfectly. At first. After watching the unit for several minutes I noticed a burning smell coming from the charger. I discovered that the charger's case was very warm. I turned the charger so the fan side was up and noticed a whiff of smoke come out and also the internal fan was not spinning. I disconnected it immediately. I pulled the unit apart, removed the 12v DC fan and tested it separately only to learn that the fan was totally inoperative. I didn't happen to have an exact replacement fan on hand(50mmx50mmx10mm), but I did have a slightly smaller one (40mmx40mmx10mm) so I temporarily installed the smaller one and tested it again to ensure that the circuit to turn the fan on was functional. The fan came on, so I ordered a 2-pack of proper replacement fans for $8.The new fans arrived after a couple of days and after installing one I set off to test the Tnvodejo once again. This time the Tnvodejo worked perfectly and I did not experience any overheating.Overall, I wasn't thrilled about receiving a charger which wasn't completely working out-of-the-box. But the Tnvodejo 72v 3A charger is about half the cost of competing models, and was easily repaired with a $4 fan. This still makes the Tnvodejo MUCH cheaper than competing models (which I suspect are of similar quality).Ultimately I decided to purchase a second Tnvodejo 72v 3A charger and the second unit worked perfectly right out of the box. So I suppose the bad fan in the first unit was just a fluke. But I did purchase two replacement fans which means that I still have one spare fan available in case either fan should happen to fail.

Works like a charm

I have to say, the 36V 3A Lead Acid Battery Charger has been a game-changer for us! Not only does it work flawlessly for my son's hoverboard, but it's also become our go-to charger for several other electronic toys around the house. Its compatibility with his electric scooter & other stuff is fantastic. The 3A charging speed is impressive, and I love that it ensures our batteries are fully charged and ready for action in no time. Plus, the build quality feels robust and reliable. I mainly used this for my 36v razor, it has XLR charge port which this one came with. I like the variety of plugs that it gives, but my review is specific to the XLR one. It took some fiddling and the contact points aren't that great. Had to be in a very specific position for it actually charge, and if moved a little bit it would stop charging. However, the charger works, and I'm assuming the other adapters work fine.

This charger worked really well for my needs. I had to find something that fit a Razor scooter battery with an oddball charging connector. The correct connector was included with this item, and worked great to charge up the battery.

It charges my electric bike well. No issues so far. It is small and easy to handle.

Good size

I followed the instructions and made sure it's connected properly. Battery type, current and voltage also matched. Two minutes after it started charging the battery, there was a loud pop, and white smoke left the charger (everyone knows that electronics works on white smoke). I guess they make a lot of defective units, and if you want to play this lottery, you can try and buy one. This one went back home.

Ce chargeur fonctionne bien jusqu’à maintenant ,il sert bien pour des batteries acide de plomb ,mais les instructions qui l’accompagnent sont pas pour ce chargeur, les instructions dise que ce chargeur sert pour des batteries lithium, ignorer cette note!

The media could not be loaded.  Bought this item to replace broken one to charge kid's electric atv. The charger really surprised me. It works really great. It's better than my previous charger.
