World Music: A Global Journey

Had this book for college but I never actually read it since I was in college

College kiddo needed this for an elective class- so he ordered it as a rental. Appears to have made its way thru many owners but much more cost effective than buying it for his class. The rental book did not have the CD but he said it has not affected him as his professor has the music clips available online. Good price to rent this!

It came faster than expected and I needed this book for a class I am taking. The book was rather okay and in good condition.

I needed this book for my World Music class, and it was the first college textbook I’ve had to buy. The price was really low compared to other places, it came fast and in perfect condition, and it came with the CDs necessary for my listening exams.

When purchasing this book, I believed that the music CD's came with it.There were no music CD's in the book when I received it.

it was advertise with the CD which i needed received for my class; however,the book came without the CD. Be careful and watch out for buyers advertisement. You see a product you wish to buy and you can end up getting part of what is being advertise. It Would have been most satisfying if got the CD as advertised along with the book. So buyers be warn when purchasing this product.

This book was missing the CD’s which are necessary in order to use it.Otherwise it was in good shape, but I had to return it unfortunately.

It's a good general textbook for world music, though it is lacking in many details. Good if you want a quick and general work to refer to, such as in classrooms or as part of an ethnomusicology module at uni.
