I haven't had to clean it yet, but it looks like the plastic surfaces could easily be wiped down with a mild detergent and the seat cushion and arm rest pads would be cleaned like any upholstery.

Well, on mine, if you pull it all the way up, it then can be lowered to the lowest position. Then, it can be raised up into three additional positions, and there is a click at each position. So, a total of four positions in height.
