Pnumatic Tyre

Bought to replace an 18 month old heavy duty Al-Ko jockey wheel on my caravan which had cracked side walls and required regular inflation.The replacement wheel is the correct diameter to accept the original jockey wheel axle. However, the bearing on the wheel is narrower than the original requiring six 20mm washers to be added to the axle (3 either side) to prevent the wheel moving sideways and rubbing on the axle fork. (Extra cost of £1.20 from local hardware shop to resolve this).Used twice since fitting and appears to be doing the job. 30PSI max inflation.Updated 3 June. Unfortunately on our next trip out with the caravan, the tyre was found to be flat. Tread had split. In order to continue our holiday, I decided to purchase a new jockey wheel assembly with a solid tyre to avoid further problems with flat jockey wheels.Received an instant refund from the supplier for which I was really impressed. I'm sure that they would have replaced the item had I asked but as we were away from home when original wheel split, and bought an alternative jockey wheel, this would have been of little use

A well made product excellent value for money. My only reservation is that the tyre appears to me made of some form of plastic that may crack in cold weather, otherwise great. Not suitable for heavy nose weights or commercial trailer use.

Bought this as a replacement for an old one which came with an Alko jockey wheel assembly. The old tyre would always be losing pressure and the wheel had plastic bearings. This new one has steel bearing units and the tyre has kept pressure pretty well, so I'm pleased with it and it's good value.

I ordered the above item but when it arrived it was not the one advertised, as we needed the tyre straight away my husband had to modify the bracket, it was not as described or ordered

the photos are incorrect, this wheel has a PLASTIC insert _not_ a metal needle bearing

Well made item with wheel bearings and capability to split wheel to mend puncture or replace inner tube. Far superior to those tyres which have a non splitting wheel and no bearings.

I needed this urgently and it arrived very quickly and fitted the existing trailer jockey wheel. Would recommend it as a quality product.

The wheel arrived promptly and as described. I took the well worn jockey wheel off my caravan and fitted this wheel with the aid of a few taps from a hammer. It's a bit tight in the alko wheel frame being a wider tyre than the skinny solid one but it just fits. All in all it appears to be a good product.
