5M Telescopic Aluminium Ladder - 16.5FT Black Folding Telescoping Ladder with Hooks, 330lb Capacity, EN131

I bought these ladders mainly because I do not have space to store or transport normal extendable ladders that could reach up to 5m. The telescopic ladders are great, they reached the height I needed (4.2m), they did bounce a little when climbing half way up, but I never felt unsafe on them, they extended easily and it was easy to take them down again. The only thing I would say is they are a little heavier than normal ladders, but manageable. To collapse the ladder I laid it on the floor and then realised the clips so it didn't snap down each time. I would definitely recommend these ladders for any general jobs, they have been amazing, and not a bad price.

Bought this for general in door use as it's compact and easy to store. And also as an escape ladder as it has hooks to aid in dropping out of a window. I was immediately impressed with the build quality. The ladder is really easy to extend and locks reassuringly in position. And then the catches are very easy to operate to retract the sections.The hooks are easy to remove but I think I'll just leave them in place as they freely rotate so don't snag on things. And it's light to carry and good for putting in the boot of my car.Overall, I was impressed with this ladder.

This five metre ladder collapses into each section below to give a carrying height of about one metre, to extend each section is lifted until two latches one each side clip into place to secure the section in place.The ladder is quite heavy to carry and when fully extended does bounce a little when climbing, it can be used for differing heights by not extending sections, the main problem found is the distance between the rungs is quite large, certainly bigger than fixed ladders so the user does have to be quite agile to climb this ladder and be prepared for a slight bow in length unlike fixed ladders.The ladder appears well made from thick alumimium tube which does have a fair bit of weight however it does flex whilst in use.
