You just need to break the metal hook at a right angle and insert the metal hook into the gap of the car B-pillar or C-pillar, and then pull the drawstring tight, the curtain will be firmly fixed on the car window, not easy to fall off.

Q: I would like to use this in my 2019 highlander for car camping . Would that be useful and would I need 2 sets ?

Yes, this product is very useful, the aluminum reflective backing is the most useful part, not like other black curtain which couldn't prevent the lighting. but the two clip are easy to break and diffeicult to look for replacement anywhere. 2 sets would be fine.
