Hamsters (Bullfrog Books: My First Pet)

Great book for kids with their first pet. Lots of interesting facts and realistic care tips. I got it for my 4yr old who was asking for a pet hamster to prepare him to be a pet owner. He still references the book during pet care.

Great for early readers. Perfect light introduction for a young child. Full page colorful pictures with basic words. Not what I would call a reference book, but still informative and interesting.

It is cute and very basic. It is appropriate for ages 2-4. My 5 year old granddaughter was bored.

Book is great for a hamster obsessed 2 year old. But unfortunately when reading this book supervised for two times a day EVERYDAY for the last month and the book fell apart. Unfortunately he will need to get over this book because seven dollars to re-purchase it is a bit over priced for the quality of the book.

So cute and great for little ones. My five year old loved it.

I like this book. It has Hamsters in it. They are fun and fast.

I feel this book gives children wrong information about how to properly care for a hamster. It would be a great way to introduce love for a hamster to a child if it was correct. Hamster balls are not safe for hamsters. Also a hamster needs at least 400 sq ft (600 is better) of living space.

A simple , basic knowledge about hamster. Preferebly for younr early readers. The colors are vivid and the language are simple.
