Takes a long time to get used to working this thing. I bought it when it went on sale. I had a scratching noise when i used a q-tip and my ear itched. i couldn't get it to work with my phone at all, no matter what app i installed. i plugged it into my computer and downloaded the software for it. it worked and it worked well. i found out i had a hair resting against my ear drum so when i touched it with the q-tip it made a loud scratching sound when it moved. took FOREVER to figure out that holding it right was the main point of getting it to work right. up is up... down is down.... Works well, worth it.Post Statement~I order items with my own money I earn with my own work and time. I expect the products I buy to be worth my time and money. MacBook Users: Insert Camera, Open PhotoBooth, Select "Camera", then "HP HD Camera"
I wasn't aware that it doesn't work for iOS devices. However, I looked into other products on amazon that do support iOS and one says their product works with macbooks by using the PhotoBooth. It gave me the idea to use it with this product and it does work with PhotoBooth on my MacBook Pro. You just have to select the "HP HD Camera" when you insert the camera via USB. The camera works well. The instruction were not clear on how to use the pieces. I ended up figuring it out when I looked at the product online, at the product photos. The camera diameter is 5.5mm but it's a little big for my ears, but I still managed to see inside and get some earwax out with the pieces they included. At least it helps me figure out if I need to get them professionally clean, which I do right now. It can be a little painful to insert but a little practice can make it easier to deal with.

Like discovery channel
Love this product. I received this in a pack of two. Instructions are very easy to understand and follow. Had this up in running in minutes. Bought originally to see in the husbands ear, due to his new hearing loss. He is too scared. But the children are not. They have now inspected almost anything you can think of... ears, nose, back of the throat, tongue, their toe nails, inside the car, in crevices you never thought you had. All throughout the house. It’s a small camera that shows things in a different perspective, and you own personal life into the discovery channel. It’s beyond, more awesome than I thought it would be.

Great tool
I purchased this tool mainly because years and years ago I had hearing problem due to wax build up. Well in my case my ears are clean but my daughter ear was filled with wax. It is a really good tool. I would suggest not to use the app the instructions tell you to use, there are a bunch of other 3rd party software that do the job without ads. I have a Google pixel 2 XL and works fine. Only gets 4 stars because the software they ask you to install is crap

Treasure hunt
I bought this because there was something stuck in my ear for over a week that would make a sound like too-taut guitar strings whenever I would stick my finger in my ear to itch it -- it was driving me crazy. I could hear it moving around as I shook my head vigorously, so I assumed it was a piece of wax that would work its way out, but nothing happened. Imagine my surprise when I got this camera and found a 1/2" long head hair inside my ear. I was able to coax it out with tweezers -- what a relief!

Works on Windows 10 natively. Software instantly stops on Android 7.
Windows 10: In just plugged the camera into my Surface Pro 3 and Windows detected and added "an HP Camera". I opened the camera app and the scope was working perfectly for images.Android: QR code for software downloads loads AN97. This software stops instantly on Android 7 Samsung Galaxy 7 Edge. Great Invention I use it on my Android Phone in Seconds Easy to use
This has been amazing, I have been going to the ENT DR with fluid behind ear. I am a nurse, Have 2 grandkids that I am hoping to keep from the DR for "well its not and ear infection" then 2 days later and another copay "the ear is red, or infected " antibiotics I cannot tell you how many times this has happened this year. This hooks to my Android phone very quickly I can see. You can google what an infected ear is and compare if you do not know. I encourage each of you to ask your Peds Dr to let you see what your child's ear looks like! Infected and Normal.

Decent camera
Works exactly as it says, camera is decent and you can see if there is build up or not. I definitely saw my ear drum, but earwax removal devices are too long and unable to use for safety reasons. I guess you could cut them. The camera pole itself is kind of thick so you can’t really put it in the canal. Works on Mac book pro with photobooth. Don’t need the CD it comes with. Worth he money cause you can use the camera for throat and nose.
