Dr. Pepper Dessert Topping 12 Oz Bottle

Let me preface this by saying this syrup is delicious. I bought this for my 11 year old son as he loves Dr. Pepper. He thought it was average. We put it on ice cream and he ate it and liked it but hasn't wanted any since. Me, on the other hand, I LOVE it. It tastes just like Dr. Pepper and the cherry comes through. I put it on vanilla bean ice cream and it was a perfect combo (It has to be a good quality ice cream and vanilla bean not French, creamy, classic or any other type of vanilla. Vanilla bean - just my input). It is definitely a unique topping. I could see using it as a drizzle on pastries or other desserts. It is a little thick. It was fine for ice cream but I would thin it out if using it as a thin drizzle. I did place the bottle in very warm water for about 5 minutes, changing the water a few times, and it came out of the bottle in a nice thin drizzle. It would work well to top whipped cream, meringue, pastries. It is pretty sweet so start out light. I personally drench my ice cream in it. It's worth trying out, great gift idea, and worth the price. Only complaint is that it was leaking a bit from the top when I received it. It may need to be packaged better for delivery and/or it may have been the responsibility of the mail handler.

Tastes fine, lasts forever. I threw this away the other day because I found it was still in my dad’s fridge after three years. My nieces didn’t like it I guess.

I broke the lid on accident but this stuff is so good so I didn’t throw anything away. Dousing vanilla ice cream in this syrup on a hot day is to die for. Has a subtle taste of Dr Pepper, and personally the texture is awesome too.

I didn’t taste the cherry which was fine. I bought it for the Dr. Pepper flavor. My problem was that the bottle leaked and made a mess in my bag and floor. I wanted to return or replace it. Instead they refunded me.
