Is this good for my 50# Labradoodle? How much should I give him?

I feed my 60# Greyhound 2.5-3.5 cups per day. Mind you, she is truly a 45mph COUCH POTATO! She keeps her figure, but each dog is different. However since starting her on the Pure Vita her coat glows, shedding is nearly none existent, dandruff is considerably reduced, and where do I begin to rhapsodize about her perfect fecal deposits - output is firm and reduced by half in comparison to when she was eating other ”premium” kibble. She has have been on Turkey - occasionally alternating with venison - for nearly a year now. Make no mistake, I am on a paupers budget, this food is pricey, but this is not a luxury... Pure Vita is a necessity. It is worth every penny, my beloved greyhound is worth it and so is your labradoodle. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Where's the ingredients list???

Ingredients are on front of package. We use this product for our dog who is very sensitive to artificial ingredients, no problems with this product.

How many calories are in this?

The bag doesn’t list calories. Check their website. This is a great food.

Was the size of the bag recently reduced? I bought a 25 lb bag but there seemed to be more food in the bag until recently. Shrinkflation?

It use to be 30 lbs. I started buying mine at Chuck & Don’s. I thought they were 30 lbs but just looked..25 lbs. I didn’t even pay attention. I buy NutriSource now.

Great food but priced too high

I love this brand for quality and satisfaction from my dogs when they eat it, but I can buy it for half this price from my local pet supply store. I needed it sent out of state to have since my dogs were going with me on a plane with me and we needed to save room in our luggage.

I wondered if he would like the taste and if he would stop loosing wait ...

My older dog developed food allergies and was allergic to so many traditional dog food ingredients. Including Chicken and Rice. This was one of the only truly limited ingredient foods he was not allergic too. I wondered if he would like the taste and if he would stop loosing wait and if his hair would start growing again. I was amazed. All of my 3 dogs love the taste. His hair is long and silky again and his weight is starting to improve. I would recommend this food to anyone whether their dog has allergies or not. The price is also not bad compared to other foods. Especially when I have 2 large and 1 medium dog to feed. The only supplement I give my older dogs is a joint supplement, because it does not contain adequate joint support for senior large dogs.

Value Is There

Our mixed terrier rescue guy is a picky eater that had a rough first year before being brought to the shelter by the authorities. So, we thought that we should may attention to his diet. We have tried other premium brands but for the past six we have stuck with grain free PureVita. It is pricey compared to other brands but the list of ingredients say that it is justified.Our 27# little guy will soon be 10 years old and still romps on his walks like puppy. The vet says he is very healthy. We do supplement his meals with a few steamed vegetables and an ounce or two of poultry. Very rarely do we have to store leftovers.
