Unterputz Bewegungsmelder 2Draht 160° LED geeignet

This item works perfectly on my LED panels in my garage. However, the things to note are that it is a 2 wire device, ie just break the supply to the bulb/lamp and insert it, no neutral connection is required. The second thing is that it is smaller than a normal UK wall switch and hence cannot be used as a simple replacement as it does not fit UK wall boxes. The mounting is intended for smaller wall boxes as you would get in France or Germany and it includes the 'griffs' for mounting in these boxes. I have used small plastic boxes from RadioSpares on which to mount them. These work perfectly, and whilst perhaps not aesthetically pleasing for use in the home, they are fine in my garage where the lights now come on as soon as you enter and go off a few minutes after you leave.

Have used similar switches before. Both caused flickering of LED bulbs/ CFL tube lamps when they were supposed to be off and they died early. Even LED bulb did not last long. I even used a Halogen normal bulb as a current provider for the switch in one of the bulb holders. Changed to this one and all sorted. No more flickers, all LEDs in holders. A bit expensive then the others but eliminates the hassle of installing a ceiling switch which requires 3 wires.

Worked well for ONE WEEK, and then didn't.So will buy something better, and put this down to experience.If you read this with a view to purchasing....don't.Then I have saved you hard earned money.
