The item was delivered as shown in the picture. The clamps are rigid and high quality. The base clamp is heavy metal which is holding well on 1.5inch desk top. The gooseneck is pretty stiff and easily carries the weight of smart phones. This one is the best product at this price point. 5 star to it. Highly recommended.

False claim about the arm's length
The phone stand is not as advertised in the pictures. The arm length is about 18.5-19 inches long, but the advertisement pictures show the arm being 21.5 inches long.Apart from that, the build quality is decent, a solid metal wide base and a phone holder has rubber padding inside to prevent slipping of the device and to prevent scratches.
