Bratzillaz Switch-A-Witch Doll

Hmm... one person keeps saying the identical thing about the Bratzillaz dolls; that they are cheap copies of "another company's brand". I bought some of both and found the Bratzillaz to be much better quality, prettier and overall much better proportioned that the other brand, being Mattel. As a matter of fact, talking about copying another brand, the truth is that the woman who was credited with "creating" Barbie actually saw a doll a German man had made in the 50's, bought one then had it copied in Japan and produced there also. So the other company, or the woman who stole and Mattel who "inherited" and marketed this stolen doll where the real copiers, not whoever is making the Bratz and/or Bratzillaz dolls. By the way, this man had no power and Mattel was totally ignoring him, but much later had to acknowledge some facts and had to pay this old man a pittance whereas they made millions. These are facts. I'm telling this story because one person keeps saying that the makers of Bratzillaz dolls are "copying" another well known brand and calling it "TYPICAL MGA CRAP"!! Hmm... wonder why?

*Please ignore the educational value, I don't happen to think fashion dolls are very educational. But I accidentally clicked on one of the stars and you can't remove all the stars once you've click on it.*I bought this when it was on clearance at a local store, so I thought I'd try it. I really like it.First off, let's start with the cons.CON:1. Clothes don't meet as in they expose the belly. And they end way above the knee. This may not be a big deal to you, but it's something I don't like.2. No Stands. Unlike the Monster High Create a Monster 'starter' sets, these dolls do not come with even one stand.3. While it comes with two bracelets they are black and white, so they only really match the black and white outfit.4. Wigs come off easily.PRO:1. Two full hair wigs. Unlike the original Monster High Create a Monster 'starter' sets that only had one wig and the new 'starter' sets that have one hair and one moulded wig this comes with two wigs of soft hair.2. No pegs to attach the wigs. You just push the wig on the head. It goes on super easily. Unfortunately it comes off easy too. No pegs also means that you can put the wigs on anyway you want, as opposed to other wigged dolls that the wigs only fit on in one to two ways, one of which usually doesn't look good.3. On the other hand when you are putting these dolls together you don't feel so worried about breaking the Arm, hands and leg pegs like you do with the Monster High Create a Monster dolls. I haven't had one break yet and I've taken them apart like 5 times. I've had three or four Monster High Create a Monster pegs break and most of them have only been taken apart twice.4. Two sets of shoes. This is great. If you've ever bought any of the Monster High Create a Monster 'starter' sets you'll know what I mean. Instead of just one pair of shoes that really only match one outfit, you have a matching pair of shoes for both outfits. They are simply designed and fairly cute. I didn't have any trouble getting them on. Also the shoes can go on either foot.5. Earrings. Not only does this come with earrings, it comes with a pair for each doll.6. Two bodies! Not you have to buy two or another pack to make two dolls. This has two complete dolls right off the bat.7.The 'glass' eyes are glancing to the side. It's something that is rare in dolls as most children prefer their dolls to be looking straight at them. The eyes are also different colors. Which is something I like.8. Their waists bend.9. Two hats on elastic cording. These can be used to help hold the hair on. And again they match.10. One is taller than the other. I think it is the legs, but I'd have to take them apart again to be sure. This can be a blessing and a curse. As if you find, buy or make clothes that are long enough for the one it might not be long enough for the other. But I like it cause I like having two sizes. I have put both sets of clothes on each doll and they do fit around.11. The hair brush is shaped like a broom. I thought that was a cute idea.Really if I could only pick two things to make this better, it would be more modest clothing and stands. And those are the reasons this has only 4 stars instead of 5.I hope this helped you decide whether or not this is something you want to buy for yourself or a child you love.

I am a grown woman, 49 years and I have been collecting mid priced dolls.Mostly Monster High,I had a real dislike for the Bratz doll ,still do,but the Bratzilla dolls seem different looking to me.For one their lips are not so ridiculously pouty.The Bratzilla have a more open mouthed smile.I am not sure if these are really witchy they seem more New Orleans to me.Much cuter in person and I have not even played around with their outfits yet.We only need the other large set and we will have them all.This one has been priced under twenty on Amazon for awhile.I say go for it.Also a little sturdier for girls play.

My dolls arrived on time and in great condition. I love the mod 60's outfits! The wigs are really cute and well made. I'm really diggin' the duality of it all. The clothes, shoes, and wigs each fit my monster high dolls which I thought was pretty cool. The clothes are also much better quality than monster high. It was a lot of fun assembling the dolls together. This was worth every penny.

Very nice alternative to the M.H. Create A Monster dolls. Quality of doll body is so much better and stronger made. Doll is taller than M.H. too. Clothes are plain and simple, but made better than CAM's clothes. PLUS you get TWO WIGS with the Switch A Witch! And they put to shame the shabby things Mattel calls wigs, in their CAM doll sets. I have both Switch A Witch and the Create A Monster dolls and both are very different and it's nice to have both, because of this. Although, that said, Mattel's doll body quality is poor as far as durability. I don't see how any child under 8 could enjoy the dolls without breaking a limb attachment peg, losing the tiny hands and being unable to get the shoes off without assistance. As an adult, I have trouble getting those darn tight shoes off myself. The Switch a Witch is a bit stronger, in my opinion and I am a doll artist and collector. The CAM girl doll parts are just too fragile and tiny.

Dolls arrived in excellent condition and fast. Note that the pink and green doll is shorter and curvier than the other Bratzillaz dolls, but you can still switch her with the other doll (just get creative!).

The dolls look like they are at the carnival and they are having a lot of fun and fun to play with.

I still didn't assemble the doll pieces all together, but they look fabulous! Arrived in time and perfect.
