The tools are super sturdy. The little lights were so convenient and lasted so long. Thank goodness it came with carving pictures I forgot to get some for my kids. They had a tough time trying to figure out which one to carve on their pumpkins I had to remind them they can carve the runner ups next year. I also love that it comes with a case so it's not just loose in the drawers and I can just put it with the Halloween decorations instead.

I use to think it was a hassle carving pumpkins but these are great tools, and made it so easy

This tool set really took our pumpkin carving to the next level! All tools were sharp, and for nicely into the case. The clay carving tools are a great addition.

One of the pieces broke within 5 minutes of using it. They aren't bad, but you get what you pay for. Just don't use a lot of pressure and go slowly and they will function ok.

Wow, these are so much nicer than the cheap ones we have been using in the past. My kids are so excited to try these out on pumpkins. The tools have a nice heavy duty feel. These tools are sharper (especially compared to the cheap ones we used from the local big box stores). The sawing blade is longer and is not going to bend easily.A word of caution, as these are sharper and stronger tools to keep an eye on your little pumpkin carvers. Although since these tools are purpose built, I feel they are safer than just grabbing a kitchen paring knife and hacking away on the pumpkin.My kids have often commented and wondered how people are able to carve such intricate designs is pumpkins. Well there are 6 double ended fine carving tools. Now they have the quality tools needed to unleash their creativity. They have already be watching videos of advanced carving methods.The kit includes a bunch of single use stencils, we probably will not use these other than for inspiration.Included are 5 battery powered lights. A word of caution about the 3 small button batteries inside. The combined battery and on off switch cover opens easily and the batteries will come out. So be aware if you have small children. Any type of small button batteries can be deadly if swallowed.)I fully expect we will be using this nice carving kit for many years to come.
