Body Armor 4x4 JK-2394 Black - Steel Rear Bumper for 2007-2013 JK Jeep Wrangler

I am very pleased with the overall look on my 2103 JK. The only negative I had was with the installation. It was not as easy as just sliding it on and bolting it down. The welds were about a 1/4 inch off and it took some time and work to get it to fit. I also purchased the 5294 swing arm to go with it and that installed very easily. They both look very good together!

The photo is very very misleading. It greys out everything except bumper and swing gate leading you to believe the swing gate is included. My 16 year old ordered this with his own money and was very upset that the photo shows both pieces. They need to grey out everything that is NOT included.

The bumper was manufactured great with heavy duty steel. Just wish the instructions where better. Had to call the company just to find out I had to use the relocation brakes and not the factory holes like the instructions said.

The picture in the listing could be better but I researched what I was getting from the manufactures website. I received what I expected. The instructions could have been better but once you figure out where the frame rail reinforcements go the rest is simple. A picture in the instructions would have helped. It took longer to get the old bumper off than to get this one installed. I purchased the bumper and the tire carrier and both came with all the hardware to install the tire carrier. Which was fortunate since I messed up one of the oil seals while installing the tire carrier. I really like the look of the finish on this. It looks good and I think it's going to hold up. There were a lot of extra nuts and bolts which is better than not enough.

Tight fit. Had to notch out the license plate and plate holder to allow the left side to line up, but otherwise was an easy install.

very nice bumper for the price. sturdy mounts, pretty good finish (expect to spot-touch up from time to time), love the fact that it allows the stock hitch to stay (this is the main reason i bought this bumper. The stock hitch is far superior to many of the welded on options). the swing arm tire carrier (purchased separately) is also very nice and worth buying. All-in-all, I think this is the best bumper and tire carrier for the money for a JK

Came quickly and looks good. The latch covers the part of the license plate that has the tag/sticker. Was very easy to install.

This product used to indicate that the tire carrier came along with the bumper. That's why i bought it, it even comes with all the hardware for the tire carrier. They have then updated the post to let you know it does not. Make sure you don't buy this product.
