This was the perfect patch panel for my small network, allowing me to run cables to the back of the comms box and then selectively connect them to the network switch/router/etc. Excellent value for money too I thought. The only problem is the one others have mentioned: Some of the jacks on the rear are not quite moulded correctly and so the network cables refuse to latch into position and easily fall out. This is quickly remedied with a small blade to remove a small (<0.5mm) lug of plastic from the rear. Not all ports were affected (just plug a cable in and give it a gentle pull - it will be obvious which ones work and which don't) and it only took a few minutes to do once you had worked out which piece of plastic to trim (see other people's photos). Had it not been for that I would have given it 5 stars.

Ideal for my setup where I've got CCTV cables coming in on CAT6 cables with RJ45 ends already on the cables, so I don't have to punch down into the patch panel, just plug the CCTV cables into the rear of this panel, then have patch cables into my switch. Ideal!

Was sceptical when i purchased this patch panel due to the other reviews advising that some of the RJ45 ports were faulty, however when i received it i checked each port in turn before installing and they all seemed fine. Installed in my rack and works like a charm. Really pleased with this product. Made my rack look so much more tidy as the cables coming in can be patched in the rear of the panel with very short patch leads connecting to the switch.

Good and solid, nice and easy installation. Screws and rackmounts are provided in box too which is nice . Has held up well and have had no issues with connectors or anything. Great for price

The device just works as expected. Very clever design that it is no more than a series of female to female RJ45 adapters held together by a metal bracket. If any of the adapters brakes, you can easily exchange it by a new one. It is very straight forward set up as there is no need to clamp cables to the back of the patch board. Just a piece of advise, be sure that the adapters are the correct CAT for you. I bought CAT6 but I do not know if might be another alternatives.

I’ve got three of these in my home server room, what a difference! I love the fact the incomming to the back of the panel is just an rj45 socket because I find crimping an rj45 plug then routing and connecting the cable so much easier than trying to crimp directly on the back of a populated patchpanel especially if like me you change cables or wire in additional devices over time

Terrible fitment on some of the connectors, refuses to latch on to the cable on some of the ports! Don't buy.

Unfortunately multiple keystones are broken. There’s no way to receive replacements other than sending back the whole unit.
