Excellent Dish Drain
Have used this for about a month now, and am very happy with my purchase. For its size, it holds a lot of dishes, bowls, pots and utensils...with a few cups to boot. For the most part, all the water drains directly into the sink, with the only exception on the low corners of the plastic drain tray. For those who say it doesn't drain, check to make sure that the higher end of the drain tray installed correctly to the underside of the unit (ie. not flat). I improved the tilt on mine a bit by placing the extra drain tray for glasses under one end of the unit. This dish drain is sturdy; and I cannot imagine any of the aluminum bending or breaking except with a very heavy item being place on it. I don't think I would place a 6-quart cast iron dutch oven on this. The price of this was quite reasonable, and the best of this was that it is 100% aluminum, so it will not rust. Would have been nice if the utensil holder was also made out of aluminum, but you can't have everything.

Absolutely perfect!
We just remodeled our kitchen and need a dry rack that can stay on the counter all the time, but without looking tacky. This one is PERFECT! It looks industrious (goes well with chrome colored appliances) and holds everything, including large cutting boards. The slope of the drain pan into the sink means you never have overspill water or have to lift it and drain it yourself. The extra pull out tray is excellent for when cooking with a lot of pots and pans and needing more drying options. I also like the legs on it because the extra space underneath it is perfect for storing cutting boards. NOTE: we have low cabinets and this rack works just fin in the tight space.

Better Than Many Alternatives
I debated between buying a competitor's much higher priced stainless steel dish rack and this one. I chose this because of the multi-functional arrangement of the interior of the rack. We don't wash a lot of plates or glasses by hand and we needed something more adaptable to pots, pans, and other items that we don't put in the dishwasher. Considering that application, we're very pleased with this product, and it easily accomodates all the items we wash by hand each day. I do wish, however, that there were less space between all of the "bars" in the rack. I find that things slide out of both the bottom and the sides of the rack and closer spacing would minimize that. The utensil holder works fine for us and things don't fall out of it too easily. I put the utensil holder closest to our sink, with the "glass holders" on the opposite end. Since the metal rack part is not attached to the plastic drain underneath, you can do that easily. I loved the idea of the separate drain board that slides under the main rack/drainboard, and it does expand the drying space, but for us it doesn't work as well as I had hoped. Water tends to accumulate in the "slider/drain tray", rather than draining off, but in our case the water flows to a location that is hidden underneath the drainboard of the main rack. The trapped water quickly becomes scummy unless you clean and put away your dish rack every day, which we don't do. Another option was to prop up the one side of the dishrack, so that water wouldn't accumulate in the slider tray, but then the water drains onto our counter, so we have just stopped using the slider tray. This dish rack is replacing one of the more traditional Rubbermaid dish racks and in comparison to that, I'm very pleased with this one. It cleans easily, doesn't discolor, and in general makes our counter look a little neater. (Our dish rack has a permanent place on the counter beside the sink, so this might not be an issue if you put yours away each night.) I'm glad we purchased this and haven't found one I like better, even at much higher prices, but a few design changes are necessary to make this a perfect dish rack.

Ten Years and Going Strong
I have had this dish rack for ten years. Ten years of daily use and hard water! I broke down and sprung for this expensive, stainless steel drying rack because I was sick of replacing rusty racks constantly. It has been well worth the cost! The plastic looks good as new after a soaking of distilled white vinegar and a light scrub with a scrub brush and non-scratching scrubby pad. I love this thing! Buy it!

Wonderfully beautiful and unique dish drainer
I love the way it looks. It’s unique looking and easily large enough for a family of 2. I chose to use a large cotton mat I previously purchased on Amazon under the solo rack and store the other two components. It drains perfectly and as I only do a few dishes at a time (at meals), the cotton mat stays dry most of the day. I like that it is rust proof and gives a unique retro (or contemporary- contingent on your Aestheitic) look to my kitchen. It perfectly fit the space I had for it (my concrete countertop had an angled area to drain dishes already designed into it). Highly recommend, although I’ve only owned and used it for a little less than a month. But I love its look every day.

very sturdy, holds lots of dishes. The additional tray is wonderful, I use it when there are many pots and pans, and then can just put it away. Much recommended.

This is our second purchase of this dish rack. Had the first one for almost 10 years. Well designed and looks beautiful. Perhaps the only drawback which they didn't fix, is the slope of the base. Still not slanted enough and water doesn't drain away quite as well as it should. Still love it though.
