Q: Does this fit the new iPad Pro 12.9" 2021?

I have a 2019 iPad Pro 12.9. It fits perfectly. I don’t know if a 2021 has any changes.

Q: Does this one work for the 4th generation?

I am not 100% sure, but it actually might fit. The dimensions are identical according to the Apple support pages. My only concern would be that the camera area is different (4th gen/2022 is twice the size of the 3rd g3/2018), so the protective bumper on the back side of the case would not fully cover the camera area of the 4th gen model, but the plastic film itself is flexible so the extra camera area shouldn't affect the fit.

Q: Is the installation permanent or can I put the case on and off as needed?

I finally found the 'thumbnail' tab to open the case. Initially I'd gotten in due to having not sealed everything well enough, I didn't press the perimeter down. One of the corners has a notch so you can open this. I'm not sure how often it can be removed and function well (bending stress), but I like it. I only use it home, weekends...so otherwise I'm swapping it for my work cases....so I'm doing it weekly. No issues.
