A good solution for a breathable splint that also allows flexibility in other joints. Can be knocked out of place easily though, so I use micropore tape to secure it when necessary.

Great for allowing air around the thumb / finger area

Surprisingly useful in managing my Mallet Finger injury. I wouldn’t trust this to stay on overnight without lots of tape but as a relief to keep the finger straight while redressing this has been amazing.The ability to bend the metal to the exact shape you want means the joint stays nicely straight and much of the skin can breathe.

No doubt product is good but seriously expensive.

If you have mallet finger, no other issues, this is fantastic, can’t recommend any more. The nhs splint causes more problems, this is a no brainier. Update: I have noticed after 2 weeks that the strap across the joint causes the finger to thin. Am now swapping between the plastic nhs mold and this each week

Did like this splint for my finger as easy to shape. Unfortunately fell off and was chewed by my dog good job I ordered other sort to try for finger tip which was broken suggest supply 2.

I used it for a mallet injury, it keeps the to of the finger slightly up but you need to secure it with extra tape as it keeps on moving

Geniale Fingerschiene, wenn man sich das PIP Gelenk gebrochen hat und/oder Sehnen- oder Nervenschäden hat. Hält das Gelenk gut stabil und den Finger gerade, gerade weil der Velcroverschluss genau über dem Gelenk sitzt. Ich hatte vorher eine Stack’sche Schiene und eine mit 2 Velcroverschlüssen vorher, wo der Finger zwischen den Velcroverschlüssen anschwoll bzw. das Gelenk trotzdem etwas beweglich war und somit nicht genügend ruhig gestellt. Diese Schiene sitzt perfekt, das Gelenk ist ruhig gestellt und der Tedt der Hand nicht so behindert. Jederzeit wieder!

The splint comes in a flat configuration with no bend to the metal base, and you can form it to any angle. I chose to go with a mild hyper-extended angle, as recommended.Compared to the generic splint I received from the ER, this splint is smaller, more comfortable, and more effective. The padding and velcro seem to be of good quality too, and I'm happy with my purchase so far. I will update my review after long-term use if possible.

Very simple but effective design. I liked that you can adjust the angle easily. That makes all the difference when your trying to straighten your finger vs the kind where you just insert your whole finger in a padded tube. Also being able to slide it to the right position and fasten it as loose or as tight as you need makes it more comfortable as well.
