Surfboard Wall Racks - Display, Clear Acrylic, Vertical Wall Mount

I use this as a wall display for a retired board I have. Don't buy this for daily use. it's for putting a board ion it and leave it there.

Used this product to mount a David Nuuhiwa Lightweight longboard in a stairwell. People using the stairwell have to walk under the mounted surfboard. Not only is the board itself very valuable, but the lives of my loved ones who use the stairs are invaluable as well. Hence, I considered this product very carefully.At first, I was going to reinforce the bottom, weight-bearing component. As I installed the mount however, it seemed strong enough so I didn't install any additional angle brace or anything. I did hook up a secondary line of support though, consisting of a rope inserted into a hole in the tail fin (for the leash) and tied to an eye-hook (screwed into a wall stud).The overall system seems safe enough. I do plan to inspect it yearly though, as I have some doubt about how well the plastic will hold up under stress over the long term. I only wish they made this same product out of stainless steel or aluminum.

I didn't get the adapter for the screws or the screws for one of the two I bought. I want screws so i can put up my other surf rack.

This clear surfboard holder/display is perfect for displaying a BOARD. We bought this to display our teenage son's surfboard on the wall right under a recessed light and it makes his room look so cool!!! The holders are made of very tough and thick plexiglass and come with everything you need to install it on the wall except for the screwdriver (of course). The product is well engineered and allows us to choose whether to show the bottom or top of the board. The best thing about it is that it's pretty much invisible so the main attraction is the board.

Perfect for displaying my surfboard

I decided to purchase this vertical wall mount based on the material, the reviews and the cost. The design makes this a safe installation anywhere even in our stairway. I like it’s clear and doesn’t takeaway from the board design. Amazon listing at the time had the best price for this specific product. Note that it’s not true clear. The edge cut shows a green tint. The mount does sit several inches from the wall.
