Makes a better travel pillow than travel pillows!
I travel frequently for business, and the search for a perfect travel pillow has led me to take a shot on a lightweight cervical collar approach recommended by some travel vloggers instead. This was exactly what I needed! Far more supportive than even the most high-end travel pillow while taking up much less space and still very lightweight, this is ideal for long flights where a travel pillow just doesn't quite offer enough chin support. The foam still has some give, but it does a fantastic job of positioning the head so the awkward nod of drifting to sleep doesn't disturb neighboring seats. The fabric is pleasantly soft. If you're not comfortable with slight pressure around your neck, you might not enjoy this approach, but once you're used to it, it's hard to go back to the regular style squishy horse shoe travel pillow design. Pay close attention to your neck circumference when picking the right size, you might benefit from going a size up if you're on the edge of the size range. This has earned a treasured place in my carryon from now on.

Tall
Im 5'8" and this still was too tall for my neck. Decent quality but not comfortable for sleeping which is what I needed it for.

No, far too stiff and rigid
I wear men’s size 17 1/2 neck shirt. This brace is large enough for me with 1” to spare, but that’s all. Very, very stiff. Comfortable fabric. Velcro is large enough and long enough. No scratchies. Well sewn with the Velcro edges rounded off. Brace appears to be designed for women or smaller stature men. The 3 1/2” XL size is OK but the chin and clavicle cutouts are very, very shallow so as to be ineffective. The brace gets very hot on me ( I’m hot natured ). This one is more of an immobilizer rather than a moderate supporter for sleep or daily use. The stiffness of the foam and shallow cutouts are the big drawbacks. Just to be honest, it’s as uncomfortable as going without one. The entire device would have to be cleaned as one piece. There are no laundering ( or any other instructions) provided.

Couldn't be happier with the cost/effectiveness.
Absolutely 5 star. I have a 17 inch neck maybe 17.5 could be 16 who knows, somewhere around there based on the last 30 years.. I injured my rotator cuff which was due to 8 months of repeating the same position mechanically over and over until failure. Healing an injury like this comes with tons of compensation from the Levator, Rhomboids, and lower lats, all of which pull on the neck and traps. This brace is memory foam and depending on how tight I wrap it can go from being just a nice safeguard stopping movement past probably 15% angle, to 5% mobility. Simply letting the neck fall into it can relieve some compression and allow the muscles to finally relax and calm down. Allow the nervous system to stop guarding. The perfect tool to calm a flare up. A supporting brace not a mobilizing brace.
