This is a great product wien your shaver, clipper, trimmer croaks on you. This happened to me. My electric clipper would no longer charge. It has a 5v power adapter. I found an end that fits my clipper. Plugged it in, but still no charging. Then, I noticed a polarity reverser adapter was included in the bag. When I added the polarity reverser, then the clipper began charging. GENIUS to include a polarity reverser. This inexpensive item got me out of a big jam!! Even if you don't need this today, if you have a 5v device that uses a flat female plug, then this adapter cable/plug would be great as a backup when your original charger commits Hara-kiri and you can no longer charge your device. Highly recommend as a backup or primary charger. Works for both.
