No more rodents
Very easy to install. Since installing on my car I have not had any rodents up under my hood. I recommend this for anybody who has rodent problems

These work!
These are great deterrents. We had two vehicles get wires chewed by rats and squirrels. In all fairness I think the squirrels were just trying to stay warm near the engine but, do make a big mess. In winter 2021 my wife’s Jeep was in the garage, $1200 in damage as it required the CPU be replaced along with a couple of the wiring harnesses. In winter 2022 my truck was outside and luckily only has had wires chewed up and discovered before major damage. They did manage to kill the signal from a knock sensor so I will have to get that fixed at some point. We tried all sorts of deterrents over a couple of years dealing with this. Bought these in September ‘24. It is almost February’25 and no more rat droppings, urine, chewed wires or acorn shells.

They seem to work over time.
They did not seem to help in removing mice once in the dwelling. But when mice are removed, they have not returned X 3 months.

Take your risk!
The product didn't work for me. After receiving the product and installing it in my vehicle, the following day....I opened the hood, and a rat was sitting on top of the engine.

So far so good
I've had several occurrences of squirrels chewing through my vehicles' electrical harnesses (yes....PLURAL). I've tried rodent-repellent sprays, repellent electrical tape, live traps....you name it. This device seems to be having some luck in deterring the miserable little critters. It required a different connector to fit on to my truck battery, but after a quick trip to the hardware store, the device was relatively easy to install. My son says he can hear it when he walks by it. I can't. Older ears will be oblivious to the high-pitched signal. The device only engages when the vehicle is not running....or so it says. I can't confirm or deny this. There's also a blinking light that it has which is not noticeable until you lift the hood of the vehicle. I imagine it's pretty irritating to the little furry monsters.

No squirrels so far
I put one of these where the squirrels like to hang out in the engine bay of my car. It seems to be working or at least helping in addition to the other things I've done to keep them out.

They work
They work. We have them in our travel trailers in storage and our cars. If its very hot don't use batteries because they will corrode, but the USB and direct connect work great,

I got 2 of these two years ago, they seem to have reduced mice in engine area issues
I live in Norther New Mexico in a Pinon forested area. Every few years we get pinon nuts on our trees and the mice populating explodes in the area with the abundance of nuts. Some species of our mice also carry Hantavirus (can be deadly), so anything we can do to reduce mice in the area and our vehicles is worth the effort. Every 6 months I would replace my car air filters and many times there would be a mouse nest built on top of the air filter. I know we where breathing mouse particulates - not good. Since I installed these I have not found a nest or Pinon nut shell casings on my engine. They really seem to work for me. One of them stopped working after about 6 months ( you can here them when they are running - a little chirp sound and the lights flash - randomly). I repair electronic stuff as a hobby so I took the bad unit apart and had a look inside. The only easy replaceable part is a 16V Cap where the power wires come into the unit, I have always though 16V caps in a car that charges at 14.5V ± is cutting it to close. I replaced the cap with a 25V cap and tested it, wallah success, put back in the car and it has been working ever since. So far I am very happy with the product - when it works. Note; if you put this on a parked vehicle that you rarely use, like one of my trucks, put a trickle charger on it so that there is no chance that it will drain the battery. I would recommend to a friend.
